FULI 100% Cotton Zippered Futon Cover, Japanese Futon Mattress Cover, Shikibuton, Made in Japan (Queen, Gray)

I ordered the XL TWIN size cover to go over my Futon of the same size from the same compay. The item arrived promptly and in excellent condition, NO creepy smells! I am a quilter so I adore good quality cotton fabric: this is made IN JAPAN of thick excellent quality breathable cotton. The very discreet zipper is sturdy and installed with care and skill. VERY Happy with this cover ~ super easy to put on over the futon (I have the futon by this same company) or to remove. Launders just fine ~ it is a bit oversized to account for the usual amount of cotton shrinkage, I prefer to line/hang dry rather than use the dryer. No pilling. The price is excellent ~ I could not buy this many yards of fabric for $50 (and that does not even take into account labor or the cost of the zipper!). Good VALUE. If you are using your Futon daily, you might consider buying two if you can, so you can easily swap then out on wash day. The color is a nice soothing camel color. I have no hesitation in recommending this high quality item.

As a back sleeper, this worked out quite well for me. A few things to note though: - If I lay on my side, the padding isn't quite enough, and I experience the hard floor quite a lot more - Was not immediately obvious to me, but various sheets and comforters are larger to compensate for a mattress being off the ground. It's generally not a problem though, since I just tuck the extra fabric behind the futon. - A me problem, but climbing up in the morning is a little hard if I have issues with my foot. Traditional bed is a lot easier to shift my legs over the ledge. - If you like to read in bed, you have to have some free wall space to lean pillows against. So far slept about 2 months on it, feels decent. We'll see how it goes in the long run.

I listened to other reviewers and I got the twin size futon but ordered the twin XL cover. I’m glad I did because when I washed and dried it- it did get smaller but still fits a nice snug over the futon. Sooo easy to wash and dry. I did normal wash with a light 5 below brand comforter, baby blue Walmart pillow case, white futon cover and white fitted sheet to put over the cover (that one is incredibly soft). Throw all of them in a front loader washer on normal wash with some Lysol sanitizer detergent, fabric softener and just a dash of regular liquid ALL free and clear. Everything came out clean and no bleeding of colors. Tossed in the dryer on normal with some dryer balls- came out dry and ready to use. I will note that it does wrinkle and there are alot of wrinkles when used in the dryer but that is not a big deal breaker for me since I slip a fitted sheet over it. Also I keep it on futon and it folds with the futon without issues.

Very nice futon, all cotton, well sewn except for the edge sewing, which is not down from the inside out. If you want to keep your futon in shape, you must reverse it periodically. But for the price, I can't complain too much. Delivery was fast.

Live this as cover for my futon. Its comfy and live the color quality.

Our king-size futon cover is virtually impossible to use. A king-size futon is huge. And heavy. Trying to slip this cover over one is like trying to dress a person against their will. If you ever need to wash the cover, good luck trying to get it on or off. Even worse, the zipper they've put on this thing is so flimsy that ours broke just trying to get it on. Then, the seam where the zipper ends started to rip when we had to take the cover off to wash it. Over all, such a huge futon cover needs a more durable zipper, and ideally one that continues along at least two sides of the futon—preferably three—and certainly not just one! In short, this futon cover is not easy to use and not durable enough for the rigors of being used on a king-size futon. My suggestion is that you invest in two pair of fitted king-sized sheets and just put one over the top of the futon and the other over the bottom. Skip this cover.

Still holding up well even if color has faded

Got it for a cotton filled cot mattress and it’s snug. I don’t think it would have fit a twin futon mattress

We needed a cover for our futon mattress that was 100% cotton and not a busy print. This white cover was perfect and a nice quality. It's not super thick but feels sturdy and the zipper works with no issues. It's also still in good condition after washing it too. It's pricey for what it is but with not many other cotton options, we're happy that this one is available.

The fabric is very comfortable and fits on my twin size futon.

Very good quality, snug but perfect fit for my mattress - it feels too small when you're putting it on, but trust the process.

Only problem is it's more blue than grey. Pairs with the FULI mattress perfectly.
