Lamy 1234841 Safari Candy Fountain Pen 21, Modern Fountain Pen in Mango with Ergonomic Handle and Timeless Design, Nib Size M, Special Model

This is a vibrant colour that I had to add to my expanding collection of Lamys. Very nice to write with and does what Lamy always does well, quality ink pens. With such a vibrant colour, it is my go to pen for proof reading and making changes to text.

These have to be the most delightful pens to write with. I have lots of Lamys but this range is my favourite - and who wouldn’t want a mango coloured Lamy! I actually went to purchase this from my local stationery shop but Amazon had it much cheaper which was wonderful. These really are great quality pens which are built to last hence why they are a bit on the pricey side.

I adore this pen. I've tried more expensive fountain pens from other brands and they just don't even compare to this one. Its the right weight and had a lovely grip. The ink flows beautifully and easily. Even my messy handwriting looks nice when I use this pen!

A 40yr old design classic which is a pleasure to write with.

I own a range of Lamy Safari pens and in particular like the matt ones, so when I saw this colour at a reduced price, I had to just buy it. It's fabulous.

Wer Wert auf eine gute Handschrift legt, ist bei den Modellen von Lamy gut aufgehoben. Lady bietet für Klein und aber auch Gross eine fast unendliche Palette von Schreibgeräte. Es ist wichtig. Das Füllfederschreiben zu erhalten und zu fördern. Wer mi sauberer Füllfederschrift korrespondiert hat von vornherein einen Bewerbervorteil! Denn Schrift sagt was über einen Menschen aus! Gute,schöne,saubere Füllfederschrift noch mehr! Aber auch der Schreiber/Benutzer hat viel Freude daran, zugestanden.bzw. Performance. Die vielen Modelle/farbenfroh wie zeitgemäss, laden dazu ein. Seit fast 60 Jahren schreibe ich nur mit Lamy Füllfedern, die sich auch als Sammlerstück behaupten. Daran halte ich fest. Sie sind ein Teil meiner Persönlichkeit. J.F.

I don't have a macro lens that focuses this closely, but the nib on this pen, does not even look like a genuine Lamy "M" nib. The point is a different shape. Nothing, nothing at all is stamped on the nib. Some of the better almost passing counterfeit items, they will at least attempt to etch "Lamy" and the width on their nibs to try to pass. these people didn't even try to go that far. The nib width is not German or European M, it writes smaller than the F width, so if this is an M width, it is an Asian M, which is finer than the German M. But it is a moot point, because it writes like crap, with uneven flow, just a terrible pen, The original Lamy Safaris made in Germany are great, this is like a $5 item at best. Shame on "The Stationary Store" for selling this. Hard to tell if the entire Pen is counterfeit, but the nib certainly is. I noticed they sell the nibs alone, perhaps they swap them out and sell the nibs by themselves and put a 50 cent crappy chinese nib on, I'm not sure,

This is my third Lamy. These are exceptional workhorse fountain pens. I very much like this color, particularly with the colored clip. The matte finish also slightly makes gripping the pen feel more…connected to your writing. Better than the gloss finish ones in my opinion.

Sconsiglio l’acquisto. La penna era chiaramente già stata usata: aveva ancora tracce di inchiostro nel pennino. Il prezzo é quello di una penna nuova e la esigo nuova. Ho fatto il reso.
