These plugs are great. I just lost one because I think someone stole it. I guess they needed one really badly. They are that useful.

really handy for grounding cords shoupd you need to use the household outlets to ground. especially in apt living where you can't go around digging holes to sink a ground rod.

Solid construction. Fits AC receptacle perfectly. Banana plug fits perfectly into receptacle on this product. This grounding plug does insert into a electric outlet fine. The problem is the female plug-in portion is too small for standard grounding plugs. It should be the same size as the outlet side male plug-in but is smaller.

I had to break out a 220VAC to two 120 circuits. To maintain a ground you must run a separate wire from a four wire cable. Though not code by any means, at least I can maintain a ground on a temporary basis. Fact is, carrying a ground rod around or finding a steel pipe to clamp to is not a reality. Plug these in, done. No problem holding a 14ga stranded copper wire.

I purchased these plugs to use with copper speaker wire that I am using for grounding mats. One end of the wire I connect to an alligator clip, which clips onto a grounding mat, and the other end I put into this plug, which then easily plugs into the wall. The connection is perfect.

I use these for grounding audio gear - they suit the purpose well.
