Wood-All White Oak Wood Veneer Sheet, Rift Cut, 24x96, "A" Grade, 10 mil Peel and Stick PSA Backer

The appearance is gorgeous - an elegant pattern of sequenced veneer with a solid backing. I was concerned these or any veneer bought site unseen at least be adequate in appearance or not too horrible. I was really surprised. I also thought it would be like paper thin and flimsy, it is solid and handles easily. I really appreciated the fast delivery and the fact that he didn't charge for the delivery. I installed it and it was easy. Be sure on a door both panels have straight edges that match. I did all my cutting before pulling the paper and used rollers underneath as I pulled the paper off - work slowly and stay on your pencil line as you slowly lay it out. Beautiful.

I was ordering this product to make a basket. Imagine my surprise when it came with one side fully coated with adhesive. I just checked the description again and it does not say anything about being coated with adhesive. Not unusable but an hour project took 3 1/2 hrs. It stained very nicely and evenly. I would only order this product again if I could get just a plain veneer sheet with no adhesive.

With the aggressive adhesive, it sticks to clean, smooth wood quite well. Finished jobs look great.

Used for resurfacing cabinet doors. Exact grain I wanted. Mostly straight/parallel rift cut grain but with some amount of the flaking typical of quarter sawn. Color is nice and it stains uniformly without need for sanding. The PSA makes it easy to apply. Thick enough that it’s sturdy and should be durable long term.

Product arrived damaged, the peel and stick backing is all bubbled up and the veneer is bubbly.

I bought this veneer to put over existing thin veneer on the side of my kitchen cabinets. It good quality wood veneer, with a solid backing and seemingly good adhesive. Installation was easy. However, after I primed, sanded and painted, the wood expanded and left several bubbles in the middle where the adhesive would not stick. I tried rolling it flat again but the bubbles will not go away. So this veneer is NOT good for paint. It may take a stain well, but not cabinet paint or primer. In the end I had to rip this off (came off fairly easily).

This stuff is f-ing fantastic. First of all this is my new favorite cut type for oak. Second the PSA works very very well. My advice is to figure out where you're going to place it and then place it there and don't try to pry it back up ever again. If you pry it up and restick it, it will work fine but some of the PSA will stay behind and you will create pits on the surface that you won't notice until you finish it.

Nice veneer. Rift sawn is a little hard to find. Clean sheet.
