Game changer for sensitive scalp
Having except on my scalp I was looking for something without artificial ingredients. This was a game changer no more flaky irritated scalp. Easy to use and leaves my hair squeaky clean and smooth. Lathers very well as lasts months. Highly recommended.

Fantastic product
I bought this to bring with me whilst travelling. It was my first shampoo bar and not only am I impressed, I actually love it. It produces a very creamy lather, smells wonderful - stay away if you don’t like coconut smell - and cleans the hair thoroughly. I used conditioner after as I have dry curly/wavy, so can’t comment on how it works on its own, although I suspect that on normal hair it would work great without conditioner. Left my hair soft, softly fragrant and shiny. I’m considering using it at home too, as a way to consume less plastic.

Noticeably Reduces Dry Flakes on a Sensitive Scalp!
I have a very sensitive scalp, and I’ve noticed that when I use this shampoo bar, I get noticeably fewer dry skin flakes compared to many others I’ve tried. It feels gentle during use and doesn’t leave my scalp irritated, which is a big plus for me. The bar itself is a good size—almost the same size as the box—and has a pretty imprint of the Eco Warrior branding, which gives it a well-made feel. It has a lovely, light scent that isn’t overpowering. I use this brand quite often and have been consistently happy with their products, and this shampoo bar is no exception. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because though this does lather well, I've had a different brand of solid shampoo that lathered better.

Washes well but very wasteful
I really wanted to like shampoo bars but after two attempts I'm sadly returning to my usual supermarket offering. This washes your hair well enough, leaving it soft and clean. There is minimal smell which makes it universally acceptable to all users, however there are a couple of main issues : - If you have less than 100% grip then these are not too easy to apply to your hair - these don't last as long as a standard bottle of shampoo (obviously differs depending on usage) - When you near the end of the bar it tends to snap in half, and bits break off that are hard to fish out of your hair or pick up from the shower cubicle. So you end up wasting quite a lot - both environmental and economical waste. - The box is oversized which again goes against the reduction in packaging /transport ethos. - Having these delivered, rather than being able to pick them up from wherever you do your other shopping is another carbon footprint fail. - these are very expensive. It seems hard to do good. Conclusion : body and face soap bars are good (and seem to last forever), shampoo bars are not.

Excellent!
Really really recommend this shampoo bar! I’m so impressed by it, admittedly I’ve never used a shampoo bar but I have really fine hair that gets easily greasy and I’ve always thought a shampoo bar would just make it kind of claggy and not work for me. Anyway since it was pretty cheap I thought I should try it, plus I love that it’s just in cardboard packaging.. and I would definitely say it works equally as good as any liquid shampoo I’ve ever liked! It lathers up super well and then washes out really well too, not sure yet for how long the bar will last but I’ve used it for a week and it’s still pretty much the same size. It hasn’t made my hair dry or greasy at all! Just clean and shiny as usual. As others have said the smell is quite subtle but I was surprised how much I liked it and it’s a really nice fresh and natural clean smell :) so yeah a total 10 out of 10 for me. will definitely try and continue using this bar from now on and not go back to plastic bottles! I also bought their face soap bar and I really like that too but I haven’t really noticed a difference in my skin from that, it’s just a nice smelling eco friendly soap bar that cleans your skin well and doesn’t dry it out.

Shampoo is good, but format is wasteful and awkward to handle
As shampoo, this is really good: it has a nice effect on hair: cleans just enough of the old natural oil out without stripping it in a harsh way. I have long hair that's very fine and almost straight, which tends to get greasy. And I prefer a more natural haircare routine with once weekly washing and a lot of brushing inbetween. I have found this shampoo is fine without any conditioner on my hair, which is a very big plus. Having said, even after using it for a while, I would say that I really do not like the bar soap format. It's very hard to get the right amount on your hair (fortunately this isn't quite so critical with a gentler shampoo, but it's still annoying) or even to learn what constitutes the right amount, because there's no way of telling how much you've put on. I reckon about half as much as I use is wasted every time I use it from dissolving off the bar down the drain. And it's hard to get it through the hair into the roots and underneath layers, because it's basically a lather the same consistency as water, and it doesn't stick on your hands in the way a gel shampoo does. The bar is also annoying to handle when wet and easy to drop, causing yet more to be wasted down the drain. The principle of avoiding the disposable plastic and shipping water all over the place is good, but this may not be the right technology (one could do with a power refill that mixes with local water into a "traditional" consistency gel, or something). It's still possible it's just a question of knowing how exactly to use it, aka more experience, but so far, I'm not convinced that this is the best format for a shampoo: the problem of the amount of waste, in particular, seems to offset the advantages to a considerable degree. Perhaps more detailed instructions about how to handle it would be useful?
