I love this hammer! It's light weigh yet delivers an authoritative blow that satisfyingly shatters the ice in just a few strikes. It feels like Mjölnir, the hammer of Thor in my hand. lol It's well balanced and beautifully made. I've used it a few times now, the only objection would be the bag fiber that came with the ice one time.

Have always loved crushed ice and have purchased many counter top electric ice crushers over the years. They always seem to break/quit working after a short time. My last unit broke a few weeks ago, so I decided to go this route instead. I love this. It’s simple, quick, does a fantastic job. I crush my ice, and then just plop the bag over a tall cup to dry. The mallet is heavy duty, and the bag is heavy, stiff canvas, allowing it to stand up to the pounding. Happy crushing!

This mallet is a wonderful alternative to a blender when you want properly crushed ice for tiki drinks. It's easily portable, cheaper, and is more suited for the task of ice crushing. My only complaint is the small size of the Lewis bag. I'd like it to be twice the size. Most of the time I just use a gallon ziploc, which the mallet does wonderfully with.

Got my lady a countertop ice maker and these bags are the best thing ever to store your ice cubes in. Got us off freezer ziplock plastic trash. I highly recommend. I reckon you could also use these as a protective outer layer for packing frozen foods if you are trying to avoid plastics.

As in the title, we had a Kentucky Derby party with about 30 people. We used commercial bagged ice then this system to crush it. It was satisfying to use, it held up well, and the crushed ice one gets from this system is perfect. One bag of uncrushed commercial chunk ice was more than enough to fill glasses for our drinks. The bag is a heavy canvas. It does get wet with use but it held up well. It didn’t seem to add any taste or smell to the crushed ice, and the mallet is perfect. It takes a few strikes and the crushed ice is almost snow cone ready. We had the ingredients, the directions, and we let people crush their own ice for the drinks they made. People enjoyed this. I recommend it.

I love this set as the palm wood hammer is so pretty and does an amazing job at breaking up my ice cubes into useable pieces. its easy to store and can contain alot of ice.

Very high-quality product with authentic materials used. However, the ice bag was smaller than my expectations so be wary of that. But it is still an amazing product! The quality of the hammer is truly well crafted and done to perfection.

Works really well, not much to it really, just add ice to bag and pound but, it has a great feel / look and weight and performs it's function really well.
