Johnson Controls A19ABC-24C A19 Series Remote Bulb. Control, Single-Pole, Single-Throw, Adjustable Differential , Gray

Used this for our restaurant’s walk-in cooler. Installation was straightforward and took very little time. It’s been running smoothly with no issues so far.

This control is for heating and cooling but the discreption states that it is a SPST (single pole single throw switch) when in fact it is a SPDT (single pole double throw switch). SPST would be for cooling only. Some SPST controls would be for heat only. I believe you would sell more if you correct this error as I had to look on the Johnson website to choose the correct control.

This is an exact replacement part for my 14 year old York heat pump. My two ton York heat pump stopped cooling when temperatures dropped below 74 degrees. After having the dealership come out and then leaving when unit started working ( because the outside temperature rose above 74), and charging me a $150.00 for a no fix, I had to educate myself online and fix it myself. On the heat pump this temperature control is designed to cut off unit in heat mode when outside temperature is too cold( normally set at around 40 degrees). The controller was cutting the heat pump out at 74 degrees and this also will not allow the cooling mode to function. After discovering the problem I ordered this controller. Installation was easy and now everything works as it should.

My fridge in the garage went bonkers because of the old thermostat. Replaced it with this one and it works perfect.

I built my own climate controlled wine cellar a few years ago and this Temperature control shut-off thermostate is a must. You also need to obtain a LUX LV3-1042 Single Pole Line Voltage Cooling only thermostate (112 v). If you connect these two to the smallest air conditioner you can find you can have one thermostate, LUX, bring down the temperature and the other, JC, keep the airconditioner from freezing or getting too cold.
