I bought this as it seemed decent value at 65GBP. The very first time I used it, it didn't cook correctly, because the temperature was quite off. After that, it seemed to work until, after about 6 months of use, it gave up entirely, with E002. I probably used it about 15-20 times over that period.The app is pretty poor, it only connects to 2.4GHz WiFi and the connection is patchy, even then.I would not recommend this, even though it's cheaper (and supposedly more powerful) than some of the bigger brands.

It's perfect for making juicy meat. Even better if you get the 25L container. It has everything you need and WiFi+App it's a huge bonus.

Never used the app so can't comment on that but it was easy to use without. The thing that let it down was that its not very durable and it died after around 30 uses over 2 years and it happened just out of warranty. It turns on but no longer heats the water. Do yourself a favour and buy a different brand

So I originally gave this product 5 stars as it worked an absolute treat. Yes the app was terrible & the WiFi wasn't worth it but as a kitchen tool it did as asked.However, 16 months after buying the element stopped heating. I was all ready to purchase a new 1 but discovered that SousVideTools have a 2 year warranty on this product. I contacted them via their website & received a reply asking if this was an Amazon purchase & if there was a build up of limescale. I cleaned what little limescale was on the element & confirmed it was an Amazon purchase.The reply back was that because I bought via Amazon the warranty was invalid. Apparently you are not purchasing this machine from their store at all & they will do nothing about it. You have to replace the machine.I will not be replacing this from SousVideTools but going elsewhereBuyer beware with this purchase

Bought this machine from SousVide Tools. I had another machine that was not so accurate over a long length of time but this machine does not miss a beat. Very reliable. Warning comes up when it needs cleaning and instructions for this are given. Did not get this right first time but received great help from manufacturers and after that it was so simple.

Here is my review of the SousVideTools iVide 2.0First the goodToday we cooked lamb steak at 55 degrees c for 1 hour, it came out so soft and tender, we also a smoked gammon joint at 70 degrees c for 4 hours, I swear I would not be lying if I said it was the best gammon I have ever tasted, I keep slicing off more when I go to the kichen.The badThe Sous Vide machine is big and had to get a bigger pan out the shed, but not really a problem if you have one. The machine clamp is no adjustable a simple design flaw, but like I said a bigger pan was the answer.Now for the very badThe app is a complete joke you pay extra for a machine that connects to WiFi, and whatever I try it just does not work it will tell me the machine is cooking but will not let me set time and temp and says app not connected, also whilst adding a recipe, the recipe you get to the end and it just vanishes.Would I recommend this product no not until they sort the app out and put on a adjustable clamp

Used this twice a week and now after 3 months it's stopped working.
