Fishing buddies will be jealous
I would buy these again and again. I use sufix 832 braid and if you're holding these right they cut the braid flawlessly. They cut well enough that the braid can immediately be pushed through a size 6 hook eye. Regardless of how you hold them they cut floro and mono easily. As for clamp strength, they're flawless. Get them clamped onto a hook, just using the first click of the retaining clicky things, and that hook isnt going anywhere. No rotating, no spinning, no problems. You can focus on your catch and getting it back into the water as quickly as possible. I've bought one for me, and I'll never have to buy one for me again, and I bought one for my fishing buddy who's been very jealous every time I pull them out. Here's some information you're less likely to need or care about. The holes are big enough for gloves, I mainly fish in the dead of utah winter, 30° and below, my gloves fit just fine. They're quite thick, a little difficult to unclip the retaining clippy things, so if you think that might be a problem for you, I would still buy them, but be ready to return them if needed. These are definitely no joke, very well built, and that means they're gonna be a little difficult too.

Excellent for fly fishing
To start, I was sent the wrong model. I got no reply when contacting the seller (bummer) but they are so well made that I kept them anyway. In the end, I'm thrilled with the product. They are feature rich and solid. I've got a bunch of these sorts of hook removal tools, and this is my favorite. Worth the extra money - they are excellent for fly fishing.

Buy them
Really nice. I wish they had rubber around the finger area, but I obviously knew they did not have that when purchasing.

Works good
Hate the little screw driver on the handle. Otherwise great product

Thumbs up
For years I just used plain forceps and I’m upset with myself for not getting these sooner. They’re big enough to do just about anything you need them to do. Forceps/snips/hook eye poker. I find that the less stuff I have dangling off my sling pack the better my day seems to go on the river of course but especially on the hike in. These help fill several roles in one tool and keep things streamlined. Finger holes are also big enough to not get a thumb knuckle stuck but for cold weather fishing they probably wouldn’t be able to accommodate a glove so there’s that to think of but these are a great value both in budget and efficiency of use on the water.

Won’t Cut Braid, Otherwise Great Forceps
Best hemostats I’ve owned in over 70 years of fishing; very high quality and much better than the cheap ones that cost $3.00 or so. The scissors work great for regular fishing line, but they don’t work for cutting braid. These are nice enough forceps, though, that I can’t even deduct a star for that minor inconvenience. They’re designed for the fly fisherman, and for me they’re as close to perfect as any I’ve ever seen. Great forceps; I give them 5 stars without hesitation.
