First, it came with no instructions, but if you count the bolts, you can figure out what goes where.Second, the bolts to attach it to the dock were not included. We had to come up with our own to attach it.Third, one bolt didn't fit. It was as if someone drilled the hole in the wrong spot. We had to come up with a thinner bolt to make it fit.Fourth, we had to put it in a more shallow part of the dock than we really wanted to because the legs only extend by 10-12 inches. We probably could have engineered something to extend the legs further or come up with something new, but we decided to put it in the less than ideal place, for now. However, the ladder seems so sturdy and is so easy to use when getting in and out of the water, it's worth the trip to the hardware store or the extra problem solving to install it.

This ladder is easy to assemble and and install. The legs are adjustable and would work for a variations of depth. It is very sturdy and easy to walk up and down. For the price you will not find a better ladder. Only drawback are the steps are a little on the small side, but ok for most people to go up and down, including my 80 year old dad.

Almost impossible to assemble this due to the aluminum welding quality was very poor. More care needed to be taken during manufacturing. The welded pieces were off line, not square resulting in a crooked looking ladder and railing. Had to beat the pieces together with a sledgehammer. But in the end I made it work!

My previous dock steps were slick & hazardous and these are not! So glad i purchased these. The installation could have been better if the holes in the railings had been drilled properly at factory. I had to redrill 3 of them.

Came without instructions but was still able to assemble in about 15 minutes. Very well built. Great value for the money

We really like this ladder. Using it from our dock to access lake water. It was easy to assemble and install on dock. It is also adjustable for depth of water. Steps are fine and not slippery and it's nice having a rail on both sides. Works for kids and adults. Would definitely recommend.

Product arrived with no instructions. It is not complicated and the pictures alone give a pretty good idea so I started. That was as far as I got. I received two left stringers and no right. The bolts provided are not long enough to go through the posts. It cannot be put together. Assuming I had the proper parts, it is of reasonable quality. The welding is a bit sloppy and one of the holes was not fully cut but it looks like it would have worked for me. I have contacted the seller and if the problem is addressed I will revisit the review.

We had a ladder with wide steps that were fine but our parents in their 80s couldn't come out of the water using them. We added these steps and everyone fell in love with them...even the dog.
