Works on 2007 Honda Pilot!
This fit my ex's 2007 Honda Pilot, although Amazon says it will not. Honda garage doesn't sell these switches. They told me I had to replace the entire module at about $90. Symptoms: driver map light would not turn on when opening the door, but did work fine with the switch. Research showed me that this odd problem is quite common with Hondas. And the solution was to change out the switch. So my choice was to pay $12 to test the theory, or spend $90 for a complete module. Next problem was to find a switch that worked in the 2007 Pilot. Although Amazon said they would not work, they appeared identical to the stock switch. I took the chance, and it worked perfectly. To change the switch, carefully pop the lens off using a small screwdriver or knife. Pop it off by pryng gently near the two "hinges". They will come off easily if pried off at the correct spot. Remove 4 screws, unplug the two electrical plugs (don't pull on the wires!). The entire assembly will drop right out. You will have to pop the module out of the housing at the 4 tabs. It comes out with little effort. Now, making sure you have the correct switch, using either a small blade screwdriver or knife, pry the switch sideways. It will feel like it won't move, then it will pop right out. The middle contact on the module tends to get corroded, so you might want to scrape the corrosion off gently. Don't bend the pins! Snap the switch fully in and install everything. DONE! Entire job will take less than a half hour. Other than the strain of working overhead, it is an easy job. And cheap.

Works on 2006 Ram 1500, VERY Close to factory switch.
Switch is VERY close to original, slightly longer plunger. Don't sand down the plunger on the switch. It is hollow with a spring in it, I ruined my first switch doing this. On the clear lens is a raised "Tab" that actually pushes the switch. Sand this down. On mine, I just cut it off with a razor knife, and glued a small piece of plastic the correct height directly under the switch. Total time for modification was probably 15 minutes, very easy, and WAY cheaper than buying a new complete assembly from Dodge. Also Note: -The overhead assembly has Two Screw you need to remove. There is one under each lens. -Switch just slides In/Out from the assembly. The new switch fits perfectly -Cut off the old wires one by one, and just "Push" them into the corresponding hole in the new switch, no soldering or screws necessary

Worked perfectly in my 06 Pilot
One of the map lights in my 06 Pilot wouldn't work - it wouldn't light up with the door open, and it didn't work to press the switch on. Replacing the bulb didn't work either - known working bulb in the other map light wouldn't work in this one. After reading on the Piloteers forum that this switch might be the culprit, I ordered this and followed the instructions I found online for removing the entire light assembly and replaced the switch. I replaced both of them, even though the other one was working, since I find it's usually a good idea to do it all at the same time rather than having to open it all back up again soon when/if the other one goes out. Put the map light assembly back in and everything was working perfectly. If you have decent DIY skills this isn't tough to do. Be sure to use plastic trim pry tools to remove the map light lenses and assembly to avoid scratching or breaking anything.

Fit my Element fine & fixed issue
Just what my research verified, switch going bad. Map/dome lights wouldn't work with door most of the time, but with the switch no issues. Honda sells them if you get someone who know how to find it; i didnt get lucky. These were more expensive than other sites & brands, but 15 min and BOTH new ones in and working fine again. HINT: Use dielectrical grease on contacts to eliminate arcing/corrosion. Also, I did find HONDA OEM ones for 40% CHEAPER afterwards, but so be it.

Works on 2010 Honda Civic!
I could not find a switch that was listed as compatible with a 2010 Honda Civic. But I took a chance and I’m glad I did these, this switch kit works perfect! I’ve been without a map light for months and it worked instantly! There are plenty of videos on YouTube that show you how to change out the switches. All you need is a Phillips head screwdriver and a flathead screwdriver or thin butter knife to remove the lens. Honda doesn’t sell the individual switch so they were gonna charge me $150+ to replace the whole part! Thankfully this was the issue

Buy Extras
Yes it fit my 2006 ridgeline. The first one worked when installed, and I was stoked, the second did not, rather flickery, I am still unsure if this is due to the product shipped or something in the installation process that may have damaged a sensitive part. My sense is that if I ordered another two I would get one of them to work, but again I really don't know if it was a brittle part or an insensitive installation that could have damaged the part. I am a careful person, so its not like I was trying to force something in the wrong way and broke it, but this could just be a rather delicate tricky item in design by Honda.

Worked like a champ and easy to install
Worked like a champ! The driver side dome light on my 2004 Honda Accord would not turn on when I opened the driver's door. You could physically click the light to come on, but the auto light for the driver sight just did not work. Investigated this issue online and they said that the switch is bad for that light. I called the dealer and they said they don't have these little switches for you to purchase, they said that all they had was replacement dome lights...I am sure that would be a bit more costly than replacing this little switch. Found these guys through one of the repair videos. Like I said worked like a champ. Very easy to replace. Took me like 5 minutes. Since they send you two, I went ahead and swapped out the passenger side one while I was at it.

My wife's 2008 Honda Accord's dome lights didn't light up when you opened the door or pressed the unlock button on the remote. Also, only the passenger side would light up when you push-on the light cover. I think its been like this for more than a year. First I replaced the bulbs, there was no change, so I bought these switches. The dome lights now work perfectly. Delivery was 1 day early (that's good) and the install was super easy, I've never done this before and it took less than 5 minutes, I should have done this a long time ago. Used a youtube video to show me how to do it.
