Looks Amazing in My Tank
I got this for a 10 gallon tank that contains a Betta fish. This looks amazing in the tank it is quite large, and has a lot of nice openings in it. Their is an opening in the back, front, top, and spout of vase (their is also an opening on the bottom that goes into the gravel). It is a great size and is large enough where the betta will go into it. The betta swims through all the holes and the handle, and often will stop and lay down on the opening of the spout. It is very good quality and is a thick material, and looks authentic in the tank (not over bright colors, but looks like an old vase, what I wanted). I am very happy with this vase and highly recommend it. In the end this is a great addition to a larger size tank (probably 5 gallons or more, it is probably too big for anything under that). My betta fish loves swimming through it and laying on the spout opening, and seems very happy now that he has something to explore. Highly recommend!!!!

Pretty medium ornament. Fish approved
• 5 openings of different sizes means water flows no matter position. • Big enough for jewels, small mbunas, & corys but *just barely* too small for convicts or blue acaras. Could be good shelter for juveniles. • Putting largest opening to front of tank prevents that one fish ya can't find.

Use with Caution
Nice décor for my 75 gallon cichlid tank. They liked swimming in and out of the various openings. Be mindful of the size though! I have a medium sized, high-fin catfish who got stuck, requiring some help to get released. He now has a bit of a scar, so make sure if you buy this, you're using it for fish no bigger than a typical platy. Cichlids get to big, so I have removed this from my tank. For smaller fish, I would have no complaints.

Nice Vase
This is a neat piece of aquarium decoration. I'm using it in a 9 gallon nano tank I recently set up and it's a good fit, although I opted to have it sit slightly upright. All the fish in the tank, from Neons to Cory cats to a male Betta named King Tut are swimming through it or hang out in there on occasion. I love that it is open on 4 sides. It allows you to look it while providing a hide away and it's not a death trap for a Betta - lots of ways out. I also love the coloring and theme. It's easy to clean and no issue with funky smells that you get when adding a hollow item with only one opening at the bottom. I say YIKES to those...

Is it safe?
The vase looks snazzy, I'll give it that. But when I got it, I washed it and soaked it in hot tap water (no stove, no soap) to make sure it was clean. When I took it out, it smelled like turpentine, and the smell didn't go away for several weeks. It seems fine now, but I still don't trust it enough to put it in my aquarium and it now just adorns a shelf nearby. I'd bet all of the plastic ornaments like this will have similar problems. Beware.

Not as expected
This ornament wasn't as big as I expected it to be. I had to place it near another ornament for it to even be noticed. The pattern on it isn't bad, and the style of the vase is interesting. I just wish it were bigger. My peacock eel loves sitting in it, and there's room for other fish to swim in and out. Definitely recommend for small community fish, not goldfish or cichlids. They might get stuck, or be cut by the edges if algae hasn't had time to grow on the inside yet.

Very Nice!!
Classy decoration to put in your aquarium. I have a 5 gallon hexagon aquarium and it's fit is perfect so that I can still add other plants and decorations to the tank..If you have smaller fish I'm sure they can zip right through one side and out the other..I didn't think my "fat boys" a black moore and big bellied fan tailed fish would even attempt to go through the holes even though they'd fit fine. I watched my fantail kinda' lay down sideways,went through the one side..hung around in there for awhile and laid sideways again and came out the other side.SOOO COOL!! LOL Go for it. It's a keeper Thank You

Vase = Happy fish.
I have had none of the problems others describe. It must be a manufacturing problem. My vase is perfect for my 15 gallon aquairium and the 12 mixed fish. They all find the vase interesting to explore (fish can get bored too!). The smaller fish can rest in it without being bothered. Even the larger goldfish, which are very mellow and enjoyable fish, can take a snooze in the vase without getting stuck. I have 4 minnows in the population which tend to wear out the various goldfish varieties, so the vase is an important addition to the aquairium. I also have a large ceramic swan that was a former planter, with sand in the bottom for resting, egg laying and cleaning, and an old ceramic candle holder shaped like a tub, with open slats on the sides. The fish explore all of these items and seem very entertained and content. This is the first time I've kept fish and I find them very relaxing to watch. They are also not stupid and sill often come up to the corner nearest me and WATCH ME.

This item we recieved is beautiful, however when we recieved it, the box the item was in was completely busted open and the vase it self has been damaged... it just adds to the effect on how the vase is made which is beautiful and makes it look even more interesting and antique. However we are disappointed that it is broke and the box was mangled and had been torn open. This shouldn't reflect on the company because this is absolutely a beautiful vase.

Looks great in my 96 litre tank, not to big or too small! Just perfect. Fish weren't to sure about it at first but they've been swimming into it and out now and they seem to love it! A great hiding/resting place. Would recommend for your fish tank - it looks great! Delivery was next day and arrived perfectly on time, not much else I could ask for, great price, great product and perfect delivery!
