Collecting Star wars droids- this one turned out GREAT!

I Love my D-O, added to My collection.

I understand how many Star Wars fans aren’t so excited about the last trilogy but this bot, despite its limited viewing time is really a Star Wars must. This set along with the other lego sets are great collectible item. In addition this build is actually really fun and the end product looks almost like the real thing. With the addition of curve bricks the last few years , LEGO has gone a long away in improving the detail. If you can get it at a reasonable price I highly recommend it.

D-O is a small role character from the newer Star Wars Skywalker saga movies (The Rise of Skywalker). This set wasn’t really well received as their were some more memorable characters from the movies. But honestly don’t let that detract from the set, it is pretty cool and having a Lego droid is always awesome. Play features: I wouldn’t say this set has play features but the head of the droid articulates 360 degrees and up/down. The set is definitely leaning towards collecting and displaying. Retiring date: This set is retiring at the end of 2021. Price: The price to piece count is not so great on this set. However, you can find this set on sale 8-15% off quite regularly.

We bought this to do together as a family during the pandemic and we had so much fun. We have the BB-8 and Porg Star Wars Legos already so this was a great addition to our collection. It took a few hours to put together. The directions were easy to follow. The only challenges was attaching the tubing. If buying this for a younger child, they may need help.
