I haven't lost my skills
My old reliable 2007 GMC Yukon XL decided to break down on me. Fortunately, I was close to home and was able to limp into my driveway. I discovered the drive belt completely destroyed and wrapped around the water pump pulley. I checked estimates for repair and they were very high. Since I have another car, I decided to do the repair myself. I used to work on my cars but have not for many years. There are several good YouTube videos on changing the water pump on a 2007 Yukon. I suggest the one from 1A Auto. I followed the instructions and found out my skills had not left me. The water pump was a perfect fit, as was the drive belt. The old water pump had a cracked drive pulley, which caused the belt to come off and wrap around the pulley. I followed the instructions on the video for removing the old water pump and installing the new one. The new drive belt went on very easily. I torqued the bolts to the required foot pounds, filled the reservoir with fresh coolant and cranked it up. It worked just fine. Saved hundreds of dollars. Since I did this myself, I will monitor the status of the water pump and drive belt and update if there are any changes. So far, good experience. This review is for both the water pump and drive belt.

This belt it was recommended for my pick up. I believe it is OEM model fit perfect performs very well. Went on very easy. No complaints. I was able to get this in a very timely fashion. Very satisfied you will be to.
