Great value per pack
If you insist on collecting these above and beyond the average user, this is a great option to save you big dollars in the long run. My daughter just got into collecting (7yo) and at the local major chain stores an individual pack retails at $4.18. Even though you can buy small bundles of packs here for around $3.50/pack, these come in at around $2.80 per pack! So my kiddo gets to pick a few packs a week which so far is working out great :) Also she has a good handful of cards that she can trade or use as play cards. I used to collect cards when young and her interest has re-ignited my love for collecting again and some old childhood memories.

Great incentives for kids.
I brought these to bond with my boys (7 & 10). They both love Pokemon cards. So far we have gotten 2 super rare cards and a few other semi-rares. I am about to buy another box.

Good set but has a few flaws (for collectors)
This review is from a collector's point of view, not a player. The great thing I like about this set is that the EX cards are very nice, including the full arts (possibly excepting Emolga). However, there are a few things I dislike about it. The pull rates were decreased from B&W, so it's highly likely that you will not get even a single full art in an entire box. If you plan on playing without purchasing cards individually, you may need to buy quite a few boxes due to the fact that both mega evolution and EX cards are harder to come by and it's likely you will get a mega without its ex or vice versa. This is not usually a problem in previous sets because pre-evolution cards are typically uncommon/common (or at least rare), not EX, so if you get a powerful Pokemon, it's not likely that you will be lacking any of its pre-evolutions. The other thing I dislike about this set is the drop in quality (IMO) of the holographic styles from the previous cycle. I'm a big fan of the original non-Japanese holographic style (Base set) and the second (Base 2 and beyond, or Japanese cards) but from EX-on I felt the quality dropped substantially (around the Holon-Phantoms era). After this, I think that the quality increased again and I was very pleased with the look of the horizontal-line style holographics from B&W. Unfortunately, in XY, they revert to a semi-shiny background, which is not as appealing to me.

Booster box.
I bought this item through Collector's Cache and it arrived factory sealed as described. The kids were excited when they pulled not one or two but at least ten rare and EX cards from the boxful. I will definitely be using Collectors Cache again to purchase bulk amounts of cards.

Awesome
I bought this for my girlfriend and I and it was great. We pulled 3 Ex cards ( one being mega venusaur ) and two full art cards! We're only missing 12 cards from the x and y series now! :D

Not worth the money
Sure, I'll give it credit that you do in fact get all the cards. But X and Y series is by far the worst I have ever seen. Not only is the art badly made but the cards you get are all the same. There was perhaps ONE full art and that's it. I'm not sure what they were thinking with putting this one out. Compared to legendary treasures this is a joke.

Though it does have a worse ultra rare pull radius
Though it does have a worse ultra rare pull radius,I loved it because it was my first booster box and I still got 2 full arts and 5 EX's,but sadly still no mega:) :(
