She'll love every minute of wearing Capezio's Daisy ballet shoe. The leather shoe features a lightly padded footbed, suede sole for ultimate flexibility, and a pre-attached elastic strap keeps her foot snug and in place. This full sole ballet shoe is highly recommended for beginner dancers with a wider foot

These are nude, not pink. My comparison between Capezio vs. Bloch toddler ballet shoes.
I am not a dancer nor do I have any previous experience with ballet slippers, but I do know a quality shoe when I see one. I wasn't happy with the options at retail stores in my area, so I found these on Amazon for less than what I would have paid in store. My 3 yr old wears size 8.5 normally, even fits into a size 8--so I read these reviews and ordered up (size 10 D). "D" is the normal width and was perfect. These fit with only a little room to spare, so I think I will actually exchange them for size 10.5 D. They run extremely small.I ordered both the Capezio Daisy 205 Ballet Shoe (Ballet Pink,10 N US Toddler) and the Bloch Dance Bunnyhop Slipper Ballet Flat (Pink,10 D US Toddler). Please see the pictures for comparison that I posted in the image gallery. Both shoes are extremely well made and have nice leather flexible soles for movement. The Bloch Bunnyhop shoes win in my comparison. I wanted a PINK ballet slipper to match the other shade of pink that is sold in most dance shops for leotards, tights, etc. These are perfect!! The lining in the Capezio shoes is nice, and I like the name tag. Unfortunately, they look too "nude" and won't match the pink leotard and tights that we own. And for that reason I will be sending them back and keeping the Block Bunnyhops. The other reason that I like the Bunnyhops is that the elastic string can be pulled tight in the front, and it cinches up the rest of the shoe all the way around the ankle, for a tighter fit. The Capezios have an elastic string but it wasn't efficient in cinching up the shoe to make it smaller or tighter. It was just for looks.

Was confused on size at first
These shoes are super cute and very well made. I loved the leather smell right out of the box. They are more of a nude shade. I was so confused on what size to order. My daughter is 2 1/2 and in the 50th percentile for weight and height. She wear a size 7- 7.5 shoe. They were out of the 8.5 so I had to decide between the 8 or the 9 unless I wanted the 8.5 narrow or the 8.5 wide. I chose the 8 regular. When I pulled it out of the box the shoes seemed SOO TINY! I thought for sure they would never fit but to my suprise they fit perfect! I would buy again. I wouldnt say that she has a lot of room to grow into that much, but for less than $20 i dont mind. We should get maybe 6 months use out of them I'm guessing.

Feedback on the sizing
I don’t write a lot of reviews but, as a mother of two toddlers, I truly appreciate when other consumers take the time to share feedback, especially on sizing. So, I’m going to start contributing my share to help others too! These ballet shoes are great. Keep in mind the “pink” is really “ballet pink” or otherwise known as nude. My 2 year old wears a size 6 toddler shoe. She is soon approaching a 6.5 within the next month. Therefore, I ordered a 7.5 in this ballet shoe. It fits perfect! Glad I went 1.5 sizes up and not just one. Also note, when I first took the shoes out of the box, they looked so small - like little doll shoes. But, to my surprise, it was an illusion because it slipped right on and fit my daughter’s feet perfectly! Great quality. Capezio is a classic. Bottom line: you can’t go wrong by ordering 1.5 sizes up.

Cute and great quality
Cute! Due to ordering first bloch ballet shoes, I learned my lesson of ordering a wide ballet shoes for my daughter in capezio brand because even if she has a small feet it was quite tight with bloch brand. I ordered size 6.5 for my daughter that wears 5.5 and it fits her perfect theres few mm extra to grow but since its leather it will strech a little more overtime. The color is not really pink more like nude. The straps are wider than bloch and tighter. In comparison with size from two brands mentioned my daughter wears the same 6.5 size with both brands... shes 6.5 W with capezio and 6.5 C with bloch 5.5 with regular shoes

(I'm so glad I took their sizing advice)
My daughter wears size 7 in regular shoes, and I purchased size 8.5M according to other reviewers, which fit her perfectly. (I'm so glad I took their sizing advice). I ordered the pink, and it looks just like the picture, great quality material. You can even tighten the lace for an even more snug fit. My only complaint is that the knot tied from the string comes undone quite often (at least once or more every time she wears them), even when I double tie the knot, this is only reason I'm giving it a 4 stars.

Ripoff, inaccurate description
The description said order a half size up and I did. I’ve already had to return one pair and I needed these ASAP. These are not only at least a whole size too small but they’re very narrow in the toes and I ordered a medium not a narrow shoe. My kid does not have fat feet I’m pretty sure... all other regular shoes fit her and I’ve never had to buy anything wide. I tried to do a return based on an accurate item description and it wasn’t allowed. What a scam. As you can see in this photo they’re next to a pair of size 5 shoes these are way smaller and there’s supposedly a size 7!! I’m so peeved.

Run SUPER SMALL - order TWO SIZES up
Let me start by saying these shoes were ordered for play for my 2 year old who is obsessed with ballet. I don’t know anything about ballet shoes or how they should fit. Ok, going forward - these shoes seem to be good quality. We have a hard time finding shoes that fit my little girl’s wide feet and the wide shoes fit great. I read other reviews to order a 1-1.5 sizes up. I decided to order TWO sizes up to leave room to grow. Unfortunately, they won’t fit for long. These shoes run SUPER, SUPER SMALL. Again, these are great shoes but I strongly recommend ordering two sizes up.

For Sizing Information please read!
Ballet shoes (and even different brands) all have their own strange system of sizing - the sizes do not compare to normal street shoe sizing. According to the Capezio manufacturer, their toddler/little kid ballet shoes are to be ordered one full size up from their current street shoe size. Bloch brand kids ballet shoes are to be sized up 1/2 size. (If you order adult shoes, they're often sized down 2 or 3 sizes...) Any dancewear store will have this information, but unfortunately Amazon doesn't provide this tidbit, so it can be quite confusing as to what size to order. I hope this helps any future purchasers!

Elastic tie makes them easy to get on
Always need to buy a size bigger with ballet shoes. Love these because they come in a narrow fit option and the tie/string is elastic so really easy to get on and off. Highly recommend.

Good ballet shoes
I bought this model because is the one used in my daughter's ballet school. Is a very nice shoe, with a pretty daisy fabric in the inside and good pre-sewed elastic. We love the inside tag to put the name also. My girl has normal feet but for a good fit we bought the N (narrow) model, the M (medium) is a little too large. The shoe size is accurate to normal.

V Good quality!
Quality of the leather is good and with the additional strings they can be adjusted to fit the feet snugly. Overall very good shoe.

soft leather child's ballet shoe
Lovely soft leather ballet shoe with elastic suitably attached. Very attractive for a young child starting ballet. Would probably need to buy one to one and a half sizes.

Disappointed with size chart being inaccurate and being left with shoes that don't fit.
Great shoes if their sizing chart was accurate.Based on their chart and reviews sizing is all over the place.I went up two sizes according to chart and they are way too big.My only option is to return the shoes which means we have no shoes to start our ballet classes. We are in Canada but shoes come from the US therefore making it crazy expensive to return at my cost.I am very disappointed.

Perfect
These are the cutest ever!!! My toddler was a flower girl and they were perfect. They do fit very snug but I’m sure they would stretch with continuous use. Capezieo is always great quality

great ballet slipper
great ballet slipper, but be warned it fits about 2 sizes smaller than the stated size. That was fine for me, but the toddler size 6 i ordered is more like a 4, 4.5

Beautiful shoes, tricky to size correctly.
Beautiful high quality ballet shoes. Tricky to fit so measure your child's feet and compare that exactly then add a size.
