All of the MOVA globes are beautiful! I have purchased three different sizes in various designs - Van Gogh Starry, starry night, blue and gold globe and this globe.

Cool little item that rotates in sunlight

Looks great, works great. Nothing else like it.

Sits on my office desk and gets tons of compliments. I first saw a Mova globe at a fancy boutique store here in Raleigh NC, and love them! Would be great for an executive or kid alike. (A kid that could sit it on their desk and not pick it up too much.)

The product looks much better in person. The globe appears dull in the picture, but it is really encapsulated in glass. So, it is glossy/shiny, which I like. The globe inside the glass also spins beautifully. Try not to be entranced. The stand seemed small and odd at first, but once assembled (which is merely sliding three pegs into the base) and then the globe placed on top, it looked very nice. Although it is a small globe (which is understood from the advertised dimensions), I feel that the print is very defined and easy to read. I can easily see the names of countries on the globe. I would definitely recommend this product to others. It is a good conversation piece as well, so put it where others may enjoy it too.

Setting on top of a table/shelf, the globe is mesmerizing and display certain sophistication that is modern and out of this world. The quality is good and well packaged. It's a bit pricy. But when lots of people are stuck indoors now a day during the pandemics, having a floating and turning globe around isn't a bad idea.

I first saw a globe in an office of a person I meant and fell in love with MOVA Globes. Their globe worked with their office lighting. When I first set my new globe up, it didn't work with the light I had, which was very low energy (energy saving) lighting. I bought a cheap (but good looking clamp) led lamp and the MOVA Globe works just fine. It really depends on the light source. The light accents the globe. The USB plug I use, uses 1 amp and powers the globe just fine. I am thinking of buying more globes. It is one of those things, just like watching fish in a fish tank, a real stress reliever.

Ich hätte ihn zwar wirklich gerne auf der Original Website von MOVA Globes gekauft, aber da diese Firma nur nach Nord- und Südamerika liefert, war dies der einzige Weg. Mit dem Globus an sich bin ich letzten Endes aber völlig zufrieden! Die Verarbeitung meines Exemplars ist nahezu perfekt, man sieht (anders als auf so manch anderem Produktfoto) keine Naht, an der die Hälften zusammengesetzt wurden und der Globus dreht sich bei Licht einwandfrei und gleichmäßig. Er benötigt helles, aber indirektes Sonnenlicht (da er ansonsten mit der zeit wohl ausbleichen würde) oder intensives Kunstlicht, was bspw. auf einem Schreibtisch gut zu gewährleisten ist. Eine unheimlich schöne, moderne und beruhigende Deko, die zusätzlich als Blickfang einzigartig ist. Mein Umfeld konnte sich anfangs nichts darunter vorstellen, war dann an Weihnachten aber absolut begeistert und überzeugt von der Idee - das Geld lohnt sich. Leider sind bei Amazon nicht die promotion codes anwendbar, die der amerikanische Onlineshop bieten würde und es scheint hier auch leider nicht die Auswahl an Ständern zu geben, die die Firma anbietet. Ich bin weiterhin noch auf der Suche nach der "crystal base" , die mir besser gefällt als der "three-prong stand", der standardmäßig mitgeliefert wird.

Arrived very quickly (from Germany to UK in the middle of lockdown) and has been happily spinning away for a month or 2 in indirect sunlight behind my thin curtains. Even knocked it over yesterday by accident while cleaning things and it kept on functioning just fine, so am happy with the build quality too (I will continue to treat it like a delicate object anyway)
