Too big. I wear a size 8 - 8 1/2 shoe. I bought these socks because most standard sized 6-12 socks are too big. I purchased size 6-9 thinking it would fit great but it seems to be the exact same size as the 6-12 socks where the heel goes up my Achilles making it ugly and uncomfortable. Will be returning. Other than size, they seem like good socks. If you have a size 11-12 foot, these probably fit great.
