Nicest keyboard I’ve owned
I’ve had a few Razer keyboards and this is by far my favorite. My first one was a Blackwidow with green mechanical keys and it was really loud and tactile. My 2nd one was a Cynosa v2 which was definitely the quietest but it was a membrane keyboard and cheap. Also the keys started peeling really quickly. The Huntsman elite is amazing so far. The keys are relatively quiet but still noticiable. I have the linear optical switches. The wrist rest is nice and plush, very useful for when I’m working. I don’t use it when I’m gaming because it feels in the way. The keys are very sensitive and have a very low activation force. It’ll take some time go get used to but In a good way. I got this while it was on deal for $119 which is definitely worth the price. If you’ve been looking between this one and the K95 or etc. Go with this.

Great keyboard. Loving it
So I purchased this keyboard because my Logitech Orion Spark finally gave up on me. I’m a big fan of the RBG and i fell in love with this keyboard. The keys are so smooth , I feel like I never owned a mechanical keyboard . So different from my Logitech one. The keys are smooth as butter and although they do sound louder , it’s such a a great experience knowing that what I’m typing or clicking is registrating with every key stroke. Loving the media control and although the volume nodule sticks out , I love the fact that I can feel the wheel and know if I’m turning the volume up or down. There is macro keys on this , which makes my gaming experience all the worthwhile. The synapse 3 app is not as bad as some people made it seem. It took awhile and some tutorials to teach me how to set it up but I finally got it down packed. Although the price is steep . It’s such a great keyboard , I can’t seem to say enough about it. I do wish the lights were brighter but I’m satisfied with my purchase. Razor gives you a 2 year warranty when you register , I do not suggest drinking around this beauty. All in all a great upgrade for me.

Best keyboard I've owned!
I've used numerous keyboards in my life, I've been typing on them since I was 5 and I am now approaching 40. I must say this is by far the best keyboard I've ever owned! The chroma is important to me because I like my keyboard to both be lit and for me to be able to colorize specific keys. This allowed me to do that perfectly! They keyboard also looks sick once you get it setup with all sorts of patterns and colors. Mechanically the keyboard works like a charm.... allowing rapid response during gaming and also very well designed for accurate, speedy typing! It's also nice having the wrist-rest come with it (which also lights up once you attach it to the keyboard)... I personally keep it aside unless I'm getting tired (plus I like to have the keyboard on my lap) but definitely nice to have. Shipping was very fast (barely 1 full day with standard prime shipping) Only surprises is they keyboard is certainly heavier than it looks, with or without the rest. But its size is pretty small/average so it doesn't really matter.

the the volume control button stopped working for no apparent reason
Here is a product review of the Razer keyboard, which is a great gaming keyboard with cool RGB lighting effects. However, there is a downside to it - the volume control button stopped working for no apparent reason a few weeks ago. Firstly, let's talk about the positives. This keyboard has excellent key switches with responsive, tactile feedback, and a high actuation force, making it perfect for gaming. Additionally, the RGB lighting technology used in the keyboard's backlight allows for customization of various colors and effects, making the keyboard look stunning in the dark and adding to the overall gaming experience. Furthermore, the keyboard has a sleek and modern design with a very professional look, giving off a sense of technology and innovation. The key layout is also ergonomic, with commonly used keys distributed logically to ensure that all the necessary keys are within easy reach, making gaming more efficient. However, the keyboard also has some downsides.I have reported that the volume control button stopped working for no apparent reason a few weeks ago, which can be an inconvenience for those who frequently adjust the volume. Additionally, the price of this keyboard is quite high, which may be a barrier for some users with limited budgets. Overall, the Razer keyboard is a great gaming keyboard with excellent key switches and a responsive feel, along with stunning RGB lighting effects and a modern design. However, the volume control button issue and the high price tag should be noted.( I just used one year, and i'm a big fun for Razer)

Excellent Quiet Gaming Keyboard! ...after I took it all apart and fixed my T
It's a fantastic keyboard! I've never gotten a gaming keyboard before because they are soooo loud. These are very sensitive keys, you don't have to fully press the keys down to input, allowing for nearly silent typing. Of course when you are mashing the keys it still makes noise, but it's nothing compared to any other gaming keyboard. Unfortunately, out of the box the T key was a bit sticky. I wasn't willing to give it up for any longer so I followed a guide and took it apart to see what the issue was. As you can see in the picture, some foam piece must've been put on sideways, and was messing with the switch! Silly issue, I just picked it up and put it upright, problem solved. I noticed there are a few of these, so if you have an issue with the A, S, H, J, T, or R keys, you might have the same problem. Probably not a very common issue, but still knocks a star of the quality for material. Also, for some reason the ~!@#$%^&*()_+{}|:"<>? plus the secondary keys along the F9-F12, aren't lit up. At this point yea, I've memorized most of them. But honestly my cheap Razer Cynosa lite had every key lit. It's almost too bad I can't just swap them. I was looking at the replacement keycaps that you can buy for this keyboard, but none of them from razer are appealing to me. Oh well, it's more just a mild inconvenience than anything, but knocks a star off the value for money. Got it 50% off tho, well worth that price. I've been looking for a lit keyboard like this for years, and I'd recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for a quiet option like me. On sale it is a must buy!

Very sensative
I wanted to complete my Razer branded setup. I recently purchased the Viper Ultimate Wireless mouse and I also wanted to try out a keyboard with the optical switches. So, I purchased the Huntsman Elite with Linear optical switches. This keyboard very sensitive and did require a minor amount of getting used to. I was a little worried about the hard front edge of the wrist rest but I can say its actually fairly comfortable and I haven't had a problem with it so far. The cushion is softer and more comfortable than I expected. I hope it wont deteriorate over time (we'll see). The lighting added to the wrist rest is a neat touch and I'm really glad it uses magnets to attach to the keyboard. I've used several keyboards from corsair which used plastic clips to attach the wrist rest and they all eventually broke. I was also a bit worried about the volume control wheel, it's way more sturdy then I was expecting. The font they use for the Razer keyboards is aesthetically pleasing, clean and clear. I wish the back feet were a bit more beefy, they do feel a bit flimsy compared to the construction of the rest of the keyboard. It would be nice if the keyboard individual key lights were a bit brighter as well but they are within a range I would certainly call reasonable. The key travel is definitely shorter compared to other keyboards I've used in the past and it does take some getting used to. You definitely don't have to bottom out in order for your computer to register a key stroke and it does feel extremely responsive and fast that way. I guess if you got used to pressing down a bit more lightly you could theoretically type faster but I personally haven't been able to do that so far. I did do some typing tests and my typing speed isn't improved at all by the keyboard but I do see the potential for that after getting really used it. Is this keyboard something you really need to be competitive at gaming, I seriously doubt it. I have been using a Cyber Power PC keyboard previous to purchasing the Huntsman Elite and it did the job just fine. I think mice have a way bigger impact on my ability to play games competitively and this keyboard is just icing on the cake. An extra thing to make me feel good about my gaming set up. It's neat to have a matching keyboard and mouse that light up. Overall I do really like this keyboard. If you have some extra money to spend on a nicer keyboard I would recommend considering this one but I don't think its needed at all. So if you're pinching pennies and trying to get the most bang for the buck for your PC gaming set up, I would personally recommend spending your money else where, better graphics card, better CPU, better SSD, etc. I already had a decent PC and I just wanted to round out my set up and it does just that for me.

Great for Gaming/Productivity
I would like to start by addressing some of the concerns over the typing and "accidental" keypress as some have pointed out. Coming from a Corsair K70 with Cherry Red switches, the difference in typing errors is negligible. For context, I have large hands and use this keyboard for work and gaming. I would choose this over my Corsair any day. I type and game perfectly fine and if anything my typing has improved. Take those other reviews for a grain of salt, especially the guy who claims to type at 120 wpm or whatever, this is great for the normal user. Moving on to the fun stuff, the gaming experience is exactly what you pay for. If I'm being honest the optical switches are a great gimmick but in reality, the difference in speed is up to your opinion. However, the big difference is actually the linear switch and after using it for two weeks I have to say I love it. The keys are firm, quick to react, and the sound is satisfying. It really feels like going from a daily driver to a fine-tuned sports car. Everything else is self-explanatory, yes it has multimedia buttons, it does not have a USB passthrough, and it has all the RGB you will ever need. I actually really like the scroll wheel on the side, it's easy to lower the volume in a pinch and the three media buttons are easy to find. I bought mine for about $160 so wait around for that price to drop.

Excellent Multi-Use Keyboard
I've been using this keyboard, the Huntsman Elite with Linear keys, for about 2 months now. I use it every day for work and gaming. I do a lot of typing and also a lot of data entry on the number pad. I am coming from a Logitech G512 with Romer G tactile Blue Clicky Keys and I prefer the linear switches for both typing and gaming. The linear keys feel noticeably faster, especially the actuation point of the switch. One thing to note - many others have been critical of this keyboard because of how little effort it takes to actuate a key, however I haven't found this to be problematic. If you are having significant issue with typing on this keyboard, you probably just suck at typing. I put HyperX white pudding keycaps on mine to enhance the RGB look and it's phenomenal. The only issue is the bottom row is NOT standard size keycaps so they cannot be replaced with traditional keycaps. ISSUES: The wrist pad has some slight deformation after daily use, which you can see in the picture. I don't really care about it. Just a slight ripple. Also, there is no way to change the lighting profile without Razer Chroma installed. This is annoying because I have to use the default rainbow color shift on my work system, which I cannot download Razer Chroma onto for security purposes. That's it. Those are the only issues I have with this keyboard. Overall, it is high quality, incredibly fast, and if you replace the keycaps the RGB can be beautiful.
