Excellent for children to understand that mirrors do invert images and magnify and minify and that science is not like a magic trick but a legitimate field worth thinking about, not that it’s profitable to think about mirrors but since it’s not too expensive it’s reasonable to purchase.

Good optical quality, nice range of focal points for the experimenter, a nice way to demonstrate the focal points of parabolic mirrors

1/3 of the set will not work for my third grade classroom. I did not understand what “ the lenses are different focal lengths” really meant. I ordered 2 sets for my classroom . One focal length is so long that even holding it out at arms length, the students cannot see themselves in the little mirror (or see that their image is upside down in the concave mirror, which is what I need them to see.. Fully 1/3 of the mirrors were useless for the activity. Bummer.

My only issue is that the mirror edges chip easily. Otherwise this high school physics teacher likes the selection of mirrors, especially for the price.

The set came with two convex mirrors, instead of one concave and one convex.

The ad states these are 2.9 diameter. They're only 2"

I purchased these for a middle school science lesson. They arrived in perfect condition and were exactly as advertised.
