Sweet Pea Beauty & Princess Party (Veggietales)

The story is very simple, but my daughter loves Sweetpea Beauty (the show by VeggieTales) and so this book was perfect for her. She enjoys the button and listening to the song. I will note that the copy I purchased was used, like new, and did not mention that it came without the battery. So I had to order the right battery for the music to play. I did contact the seller about this and they were very gracious and refunded the cost of the book. Just be aware that you will likely need to purchase the batteries, so buy in advance enough to get those before you plan on giving it to a little one who is excited to press the button.

Good story and sing, my 1 yr old daughter loves to hit the button. I have this one four stars because She likes the God made you special book more because there is a mirror at the end.

Toddler loves to press the button and let the book sing with her. So cute when she gets the notes and words right singing along.

Terrible! The song does not play which was the whole reason I bought this book. My mom has this book and my daughter loves the song but the book I received only plays static.

My daughter is pretty much OBSESSED with VeggieTales. She received this book for Christmas from Grandma and she loves it. The story is pretty good, but I have to say I like the SweetPea Beauty episode much better than this version. The chorus of Sweet Pea Beauty's signature song plays when you push the button on the book ("His love for me makes this whole world more beautiful, so I listen as God whispers, you're beautiful to Me..") My daughter (age 18 months) LOVES pushing the button. She pushes it over and over and over, to the point where we actually have never managed to get through this book with her. She's too distracted by pushing the button to actually listen to the story! (LOL) All in all, it's a great book, but if your daughter is on the younger side, good luck actually reading the book to her!

My daughter loves music and books-- this book was both of those wrapped up in one! she loves all these books (we have 5 so far). Even though my husband and I sing them in our sleep--- we love that she loves dancing along with music that is Christian based. We plan to buy many more of these books!

This book goes along with the vege movie. When I pushed the button and we were watching the movie she got so excited and just laughed and laughed.

My daughter had another musical VeggieTales book and she loved it, so when I saw this one on Amazon I had to get it for her 3rd birthday. It was a perfect gift because she was having a princess party which is what the book is about. I like that the book has a good message to it and I feel great about reading it to my little girl. The only reason I took off a star is because I wish they had the lyrics to the song it plays written somewhere in the book so we could follow along.
