Nice upgrade for my ceiling fan
Very nice looking, functional fan. I can confirm the leaded glass shades are actually made of glass, and not plastic as others thought. Easy installation as ceiling fans go.

Beautiful!
I went into this prepared for aggravation because so many of the reviews stated that this was difficult to install. It ended up being one of the easier light fixture installs I’ve done. The wiring is straight forward and everything goes together pretty simply. Turns out that when you buy an 1885 fixer upper, the living room fan isn’t as high on the priority list as you thought it would be, so this baby has been sitting in my spare room for two weeks short of a year and I’m SO excited to finally have it up! The bulbs are a very warm light and not terribly bright, so if you like a cooler, brighter bulb I’d definitely unpack the bulbs and find the right size cool/daylight ones BEFORE you install it as the bulbs go in pre-install. The booklet says they’re easy to change, but there’s nothing easy about taking apart something hanging on the ceiling, ever. Just something to keep in mind.

Gorgeous Update for dinning room
Great packaging. Good quality. Easy to install. Minus 1 star because one 4W main Led lamp began to flicker and work inconsistent. Replaced both bulbs with 6W Led bulbs. Works great! Added a smart remote. Very happy with my purchase. -d^2

Beautiful with a quiet fan
Really great fan. Not hard to install like alot of people stated. Install instructions could be clearer on how to install the little bulbs in the upper chamber but the owners manual states it clear. Would love to have more lights like this through my house

Very
I almost never write a review, but this is of high enough quality that I felt compelled to do so, especially after reading the reviews before I bought it I wasn't certain if I'd be getting what I wanted and I was very pleasantly pleased. Here's the good and the bad. The Good- 1) excellent packaging 2) extra screws always a plus 3) put together really really well, as an engineer, you can tell someone thought about things when it was designed, seems to be rare these days. 4) little labels right where you need them so if your scratching your head saying what did they mean on the instruction sheet, there's a little label pointing it out on the actual fan. 5) Flush or pole mounted. The bad 1) So they could've used some bigger pictures on their instruction sheet to see how some parts are going together. 2) would be nice for a little more wattage rating on the electric. In these days of LED lights, if this would've been made for incandescent lights it would take an extremely bright LED, but in this case it's only rated for the what bulbs they supplied, my gut looking at the wiring says it could easily be rated for more but isn't. It would be nice to be able to add a brighter bulb if desired.

The "stained glass" in the bottom fixture is not glass
It is a very nice fan, and not too difficult to install, of course, easy for me to say because I just watched my son struggle with it. But although the fan moter housing is truly stained glass, and has the characteristic sound when you strike it lightly with say, a stainless steel spoon, the bottom fixture, covering lights, does not yield same results. I don't mind that because it is not noticeable so high up, and looks nice, and probably keeps the weight down. But please note this: many have remarked that the light bulbs included do not give much light: well when I ordered the fan/light, I ordered stronger replacement lights and they make the fixture a bit warm. Please consider this and if you use stronger light bulbs, check the warmth after a bit, so you don't risk it overheating. I dial down the intensity when I have the light on, and it looks nice that way. The other thing is that it really, really wobbles wildly when the fan is fast. My remedy is that I had my son set it to it's lowest speed and just leave it there. That low speed is still much faster than my Hunters, which can run forever at low speed, silently, dependably. (They just aren't as pretty as River of Goods fans) At low speed, the fan is fine, but the faster the speed, the greater the wobble. And up that high, it's just too much of a hassle to try to balance. So low speed is all this fan can do. Overall, it's OK, just not terribly impressive. But it is pretty and many who've seen it say so.
