This product WORKS. Hands down, it’s the strongest keratin treatment I’ve ever had, with such great lasting power. That being said, know that this is not for beginners. I would only recommend this is you’ve previously had keratin treatments, and are somewhat familiar with the application process. The directions are great: simple yet extremely explicit. Make sure you’re following them to a T. Don’t apply this too close to your scalp, as it will burn you. Don’t feel compelled to use the entire bottle unless you have very long hair. A little goes a long way. DO NOT APPLY THIS PRODUCT INDOORS. And definitely don’t blow dry indoors. You’ll pass out from the fumes. They are incredibly strong. They’ll burn your eyes and your lungs. This is the price we pay for beauty, I guess. In order for this product to be effective on thick hair and unruly curl patterns, it obviously has to have a high percentage of formaldehyde. It does smell like chocolate at first, but then the chemical smell becomes overwhelming. If you’re able to flat iron outdoors, I would recommend doing this as well. Wear a mask, drink water, take breaks as needed during the blow dry/flat iron process. You might feel like giving up at this point, but know that you’re almost there! For maximum results, be sure to leave this in the full 72 hours. I was honestly amazed with how well this turned out, and I honestly couldn’t believe that I accomplished this on my own. It’s so much better than anything I’ve had done at a salon.

I love the results, my hair isn't puffing up at even the thought of humidity anymore nor reverting mid silk press. And took 10 mins to blow dry after I was able to shampoo my hair again and has a healthy shine with no serum or oil. But the smell is really strong so best to blowdry outside when applying.

Did not work very well on my 4b Black American hair. It straightened my hair to an extent but it not to the effect of a relaxer. Regardless of this, my hair was super frizzy with any sign of humidity. It only lasted 3 weeks & was too much work for that. I went back to a relaxer because it permanent altered my hair but my hair was not straight. I think if was a waste for me honestly. Just do a mild relaxer if you want silky straight results that does not frizz up . With a mild relaxer you will still have a curl pattern but a light one and have actually straight hair when flat ironed.

I have medium coarse type 4 hair that seems to drink every bit of moisture out of the air and cause my silk presses to revert within minutes. I tried a few anti-humidity products and still was not getting the bone straight look, so I tried this keratin treatment. My hair has never been silkier or straighter than it is after using this product. I’m not a professional and was able to do this treatment by myself. Results are bone straight and much smoother than when I was getting relaxers. My hair has yet to revert, even after drenching a section with water. The treatment requires high heat and lots of passes with the flat iron, but I foresee myself needing far less heat in the next few weeks due to this treatment. I have shoulder length hair and used the entire bottle, so if your hair is longer, you may need more boxes. Next time I do this treatment, I will be ordering a mask and goggles - the throat and eye burn was pretty bad. But the results are worth it!

Ok so to start I’ve had a keratin done 4 times in the salon across the span of 6 years. 3 of them were excellent and lasted 6-8 months so I only needed it twice a year. This is my second at home kertain. The first I used the same brand but in the white bottle the product called “forte”, it was listed as something preferable for curly hair. The forte will make 3a hair hair less frizzy and easier to blow dry but that’s about it. It does loosen the curl and make it air dry prettier at least for me by my curls didn’t dry naturally pretty before keratin! So note that if you love how your natural curls look then be careful. My curl pattern did change but I didn’t care because I was actually having a frizz free wash and go. The forte only lasted 3 months and I don’t wash my hair a lot maybe 1-2 times a week. I did the forte back in winter. Now for this product I’m leaving the review for the black label. In short the product does work but it is not salon quality. The results are not as good as the salon! However I paid a low price for good results so I’m pleased. To start I naturally have 3a hair with a mix of 2c think the singer lorde’s natural hair. That’s what my hair looks like after I brush it dry. Anyway I followed the directions exactly and I made sure not to get any on my scalp. For the first time I did not get a bad scalp Reaction that a lot of people get where their entire scalp flakes off. I think this is due to me being really careful as a result I never had a burning feeling or itchy scalp. The smell is very strong it gets worse when you blow dry it. I live in an apt where you can’t really open the window all the way so I blow dried my hair on the balcony to stop my chest and throat from burning. In the end it was a lot of effort but it was worth it and I would do it again and buy it again. The product actually made my hair straighter almost like I blow dried it on low heat. There is also almost no frizz. I do still have some curl left but only mid shaft/at the ends. Now compared to keratin I had in the salon my hair was 95% straight for 4 or so weeks. This product is not as strong as the salon one I had and it’s supposed to be for coarse hair which I do not have. However the this costs 10 times less! I style my hair by letting it air dry then I use shea moisture hair lotion the castor oil one then a bit of jojoba and I put it in a high bun or low bun and it really makes the curl mor solid and prettier. I do this because the curl pattern in my hair is all over the place(first picture) second pictures I just let it air dry and didn’t do anything. I did twirl it around my fingers though. This is my first time doing a keratin treatment so I definitely got someone to do it for me. The fumes are as described so make sure and do it in an open area preferably breezy. I love the effect. I took a before pic to show my texture. The next pic was during the process. The hair was bone straight. The 3rd pic is when I washed it out on the forth day (Just wanted to make sure I made a solid 3 days) and I love the loose curls. Can definitely do a wash and go! The 4th pic is when I did a blowout and flat iron for myself. I didn’t apply too much heat when I flat ironed it and I definitely need a trim. I love the results and well I am being cautious as my hair is bleached. Great product. Will recommend!

The flat iron has to be one of those professional ones that go up to like 500F. I’ve done it twice and none of those times it worked out. I used a regular flat iron and it only made my hair not frizzy and less puffy, but my wavy curls stayed in. Asked a professional cosmetologist friend of mine and she said I needed the hot temperature flat iron and that was the reason why I didn’t work for me

So I have the most difficult dry , coarse, curly humidity prone hair . I have used many many products including the inverts which was ok , . This product is SUPERB !!! It takes 5 minutes to blow dry from 10, after it needs only a swift sweep with a flat iron and stays great allll day and for few days after I can go for 4 days without washing my hair . I wrap it when bathing. Oh and best of all I was outdoors in a concert alll night with not a hair out of place. For Florida that’s a big deal. There was zero hair loss after shampoo so that’s a plus was not damaging to hair. I will be using this routinely. I hope it lasts a couple months. The only negative is that the fumes were bad applying it need well ventilated room with fans . Happy customer here 😊
