This 3-barrel waver works great. It heats up fast and creates beautiful beach waves in just a few minutes. It’s very easy to use and doesn’t pull the hair. The waves last all day and look natural. Definitely a great tool for quick styling.

Really like the results, I have a tendency to burn myself on it, not sure if it’s because of the size if this device or if it’s because I don’t often use any curling irons, waving devices etc on my hair - so that may not be a problem for you. I’m considering some kind of heat glove when I use it.

The length is great, the design is versatile too, the temperature control is a bit awkward, but the burn resistance is great, the functionality is okay, though im a bit unsure of how to use it

I bought this for my daughter , but it ended up being mine once I tried it out. It creates these perfect waves that almost look natural. I wouldn’t recommend this for young teens , it’s bulky and hard to manage with small hands. My 11 year old has a hard time using it. I get compliments every single time I do my hair with this crimper. People ask if it’s my natural hair, people ask how I get it that way. It’s amazing for people with hair that is in between curly and straight but you want to wear it down without looking like a wild frizzy haired person.

The smell it leaves on my hair quite literally makes me throw up. I used this and my hair was SO CUTE! But the smell left behind was honestly disgusting. I thought hmm, maybe temp was too high? So I used lower temp - still smelled awful. Thought maybe it needs to burn off chemicals from the factory so I googled how to let it burn off and clean it - still smelled awful. Thought it was too close to my scalp so I only used on lower half of hair - still stunk. The smell doesn’t leave your hair for days. DAYS. I washed my hair 7+ times, used a baking soda wash, used dawn dish soap, did everything the internet suggested to remove the smell and nothing but time removed the smell. It’s not burnt hair. It’s burning chemicals, burning flesh, burning hair, and like a rotting corpse smell all mixed. Like, I have to have the bathroom curtain and door open to ventilate while I shower because just having the wet disgusting smell linger while showering made me more than once have to pull the curtain back and puke in the toilet. After research, it’s basically telling me it’s cheaply made and since almost no other reviews mention this smell, I may have gotten a faulty one. Either way it’s in the trash now. Waste of money. Beautiful, wavy hair…. But the smell makes you regret having hair. Will never buy again.

As soon as I opened it the spring mechanism was popped off of the barrel so it wouldn't automatically close back up on its own. I saw a couple other reviews with this being mentioned, obviously if you want to exchange it if this happens, please do. However, I did not want to go through the process of having to ship one back to get another. There are two screws on either side and two smaller ones on the front that can be removed to get to the under piece where that spring goes. I was able to unscrew that piece, put the spring back in place, and screw it back in (with a bit of work, had to hold it in place on the back side too) then put it back together and it works as expected. Outside of that hiccup, it works as expected, the waves come out nicely and it is intuitive to use. The design is cute and it is easy to store away when not in use. I could see the spring popping out again, but now that I know how to put it in place I'll just do that next time.
