Classic fountain pen. Great feel and great color.

The grip is very nice. The nib is smooth and provides good writing! Would highly recommend.

I know the added photo doesn’t show the product but it relates how my wife feels about the product. Notice the word BLISS. That is her ACTUAL opinion of this pen. This is the second Lamy fountain pen I have purchased for her as a gift. She says the ink easily flows from the nib without leaving ink blotches. She is REALLY happy with it. She left her other Lamy fountain pen at her family’s house out of town and has mourned it since we left. Short story: an exceptional fountain pen at a decent price.

I've heard these nibs can be scratchy, but mine is like butter.

I love this pen! It is the best fountain pen I have ever owned. No skipping, no leaking, and it writes so smooth with no feed back. Amazing!

I am a Safari fan (this is my 6th), and the “aquamarine” color is gorgeous, it's a perfect match for the striking and beautiful “Klara” Sketch Ink color from Rohrer & Klingner (which incidentally is why I bought this pen). I got a fine, and I have to say that I have never had so much difficulty with a Lamy nib right out of the box. It's scratchier than my EF Lamy nibs, and wouldn't lay down ink in certain directions at first. That said, 10 minutes of tuning was all it took to at least make it useable. Still a little scratchy, but useable.

I bought this after trying the metal cased Lamy at Blick art Supply. (At almost twice the price.) This is my first fountain pen. It is light, but does not feel cheap. The weight of the more expensive Lamy Safari made a better writing experience, but there are certainly no complaints. I have not used another pen since buying this one.

I grew up in Germany and always wanted a Lamy Pen but we could never afford it. So I ended up with knock off. Love having 2 now and it writes so well. Great value and super comfortable to hold.

Es mi segunda Lamy Safari. En casa tenemos un par cada uno, para poder usarlas con distintos colores. Son muy cómodas para dibujar. Para escribir las uso también, aunque a mí personalmente la forma angulosa no me termina de resultar cómoda para escribir mucho tiempo. Son plumas de plástico, pero muy duraderas y de buena calidad. Se pueden usar junto con el conversor de la misma marca (el rojo) para comprar la tinta en frascos, que es un gran ahorro, y más sostenible, si las usas mucho, y además te permite una variedad de colores mucho mayor. Yo las uso con tinta permanente de otra marca, y la pluma no se obstruye y se desliza con suavidad. Por el precio que tiene es una gran compra y la recomiendo. Esta turquesa con acabado mate me encanta. En cuanto al plumín, yo uso el F, pero desde mi punto de vista no hay mucha diferencia con el M. Un punto interesante es que lamy vende también plumines para zurdos, por si es tu caso. Los identifican con una L en el nombre (por ejemplo, el fino para zurdos es LF).
