I'm using this to pass thru my coral device to Frigate. It's working great for that purpose. I initially wanted to use a usb coral but that seems to be sold out everywhere. This is a good alternative if you have a pcie slot available in your machine.

So first of all, I did get this board working correctly, but not before I needed to break out the soldering iron to correct some manufacturing issues. My LTE card (Sierra Wireless MC7700) was reporting that a SIM card needed to be inserted when it clearly was. Upon further investigation, all of the pins for the SIM slot were barely soldered. One of the most important pins (SIM VCC) didn't even have continuity to the mini-PCIe slot. After reflowing and adding some more solder to these pins, it immediately started working correctly. The antennas and SMA pigtails are also incorrect for an 4G/LTE application. The SMA pigtails included are RP-SMA which are typically only for WiFi. This also goes for the two included antennas which also seem to be WiFi antennas based on their dimensions. This combo MAY work for some of the LTE bands, but it definitely won't be ideal. Overall, it does work decently well once it's repaired, but I was hoping for better QC.

I wanted to use this to better connect a WiFi card as the slot on the mother board was a stand up slot that did not come with any support, so the card was basically just being held in by pressure. This adapter is for that type of connector, just not the exact same one. My card is a slightly different connector and did not fit into the slot facing up, but rather facing down. As I need to connect the leader wires for the Bluetooth and Wifi sensors to the face of the card, this was not optimal. I was able to rig it up anyway and it does work fine once it is connected and recognized. I did not test the Sim card slot. I expect it would work just as well.
