Infinitely better than my other chair
Not really 5 stars, but close enough. This chair was a huge risk for someone like me who doesn't have a lot of money. I must say, it came before its delivery window, which is always amazing. The box was beaten up a bit, but that seems to be a UPS issue since the past three parcels I've gotten from them (including this one), came crumpled quite a bit. Luckily the only slightly fragile thing was this chair. Some minor imperfections here and there, but none enough for me to care. Like one of the arms on the caster has paint chipping off, I can buy car paint, sand it and respray paint it, or do whatever with it, not a problem. Other than that everything was perfect. About Me: Normally wouldn't put this in, but given that this furniture is physique specific, it might help you out. I'm about 65 inches tall (5' 5", ~165cm), and 210lb (95.25Kg or 15 stone), my torso to top of head is about 32in (81.28cm) Pros: -When I first pulled it out of the box, I was afraid that the back was still too short, since tall back chairs are going the way of the dodo (god that's cliche, sorry too cheesy for me), but they are an annoying rarity now a days, unless you want to pay 300+ for them. So when I saw this chair for $90 and free shipping, I took the risk. So back on point, I took it out and unfolded it on my bed and sat in it to check the back height. It's good enough, since it's impossible to find the perfect chair, it seems. It cradles the bottom of the ball of the cranium, and covers the neck, if I sit in my usual position. That 28" that they mention is actually the inside measurement of the back, which is nice. I was afraid that they were referring to the outside measurement, that's about 30" so the seat removes 2 inches. When I'm reclining in it (I have a foot rest of sorts, I use a plastic storage bin), my head comfortably and naturally falls right on to the headrest. -I found it rather easy to install, yes the last two screws that lock the back in place were a bit tricky, and are easy to do alone once you figure out the trick. So at first I thought, I'll sit in the chair, lean back, and place the screws into the slot that way, screw them in just enough to catch, get out of the chair and allen key them. Great theory, terrible in practice. So what I ended up doing with greater success was, using one hand, I pulled on the back of the chair with a light shining on the armrest to see the threading for the screw. Then placing one bolt in that I had easily available on the chair seat, I started screwing it in by hand until it caught. So here is where it does get annoying, you kind of have to use the tooth you get from the few thread turns you got by head since the screws will still be off center. This by far was the most time consuming part, maybe taking 3-5 minutes per arm, but combining my hand strength with using the allen key to force the holes to align better and make sure the screw fell into the slot, I got both in. Everything else up to that point was stupidly easy, except I did screw up and forgot/thought I could put the numatic "skirt" (plastic telescopic piece) on after setting the piston in its home, apparently that's not possible, you have to put it on the piston first, then set the piston. -Love the fact that they give you one extra screw each (arm and base screw), and an extra plastic cover for the arm. I haven't ran into other products that offer that. - the padding on the arm rest cover a great majority of the top, my old chair, had like a padded leather island. It goes half way past the inside-back and about two inches past the downward slope. -This thing can really recline, maybe a little too much, thankfully they've got that nob there to control the recline. - I like the contour on it, it hugs the back nicely, and I think there is enough lumbar support on mine -While the padding seems stiff, there seems to be a decent amount, I don't ever feel like I'm hitting any internal structures, even on the arm rest, my elbow isn't/can't dig into it deep enough to hit the hard structure. I had to add padding to my other chair since it was too cushy and my elbow bore through it like it was nothing, making extended mouse use painful. -This chair gets pretty high. my make-shift (folding table on bed risers, I like customization options) desk top is about 36" off the ground, so it can easily raise itself to a height that makes it comfortable to sit at the desk. Cons: -The padding on my black chair seems stiff at first, I wanted something cushier. Time will tell if I can break it in. -The wheels were and are the only questionable things on this chair, it will be interesting to see how they hold up, if they break, I can buy newer and more durable ones. As of the first day, I would definitely recommend. Easy, prompt deliver, got it the same week I ordered it, so that's cool. Also the material is nice to the touch and feels durable.

Reviewed Computer Chair I Love on Amazon
Computer Chair on Amazon I Reviewed I am 82 years old, and this is the BEST computer chair I have ever owned! The previous chair was a "bully-type" that kept pushing my back forward causing me no end of discomfort and constantly trying to make adjustments. Before purchasing this new chair, I read all the comments and realized that almost all negative ones were written years ago. What I wanted the most was a chair that was rock able (which I hoped would not fight my back). I am so happy with this new chair! It goes low enough for my 5' 4" body and the so comfortable rocking is amazingly wonderful. The rocking deserves 5+ stars. The armchair fabric appears stronger than the seat and back, but I may be wrong. From experience with other computer chairs which seemed covered in thinnish Vinal-type material (similar in feel as this chair) I bought it knowing I need to check it for spots of nicking or wear and tear. If any appear I will purchase the strongest mending tape I can find, in order to keep it in nice looking shape. I bought the black chair just in case. Assembly was pretty easy following the YouTube video. The only problem we had was in screwing the arms into the seat and back. TIP: Before trying to screw the bolds in the seat and back, look closely at the holes in both seat and back and clear away any blocking foam or fabric that blocks the bolts from entering cleanly. I used tweezers mostly, but I did use scissors on a couple of the holes. I found that it was best if I pushed the foam and fabric down around the bolt receptacle with my fingers before screwing in the bolt. I don't fault the manufacturer because I don't know how to prevent this problem. If the manufacturer would consider adding a suggestion in the instructions to check and clear any stuck-on foam backing or material on the female bolt receptacle and carefully removing it, I know I would have been most appreciative. The only negative thing I have against the chair is the lumbar support that hits my back in an uncomfortable place. I plan on buying a nice thick wheelchair pad to put me higher on the chair, and placing a small pillow in the space below the bar and seat cushion. This complaint is something that I can take care of myself and I realize that we have our different height and weight and for the most part nothing would stop me from buying this chair again. I love this chair. Mrs. LSCF p.s. This chair was $84.00 and the arms are stationary

lasts, but hard to put together
This is a great chair that is more reliable than others I have found. I'm not a thin guy, and I have bad habits in chairs (lifting all of my weight on my hands while in the chair, plopping down into the chair, etc). In short, I'm hard on chairs. This one has lasted longer than any of the competitors I have found. It is also comfortable. The only issue, it is a PITA to assemble because the screwholes of the chair arms where they screw into the screwholes in the chair back, that lineup is RIDICULOUDLY hard with the screws they provide and drives me insane to where the thing is half assembled for weeks until I'm ready to deal with it again because I can't get these screws to go in their screwholes. That's why it is a 4 and not a 5.

Comfortable & Great Chair
After reading many of the reviews on Amazon and a few others, I decided to make the purchase. It's a little higher than I would normally spend on a chair, but having a bad back, comfort comes first. Upon receiving the chair, I decided to see exactly how long would it take to put the chair together and if I needed some assistance from the Mrs. Installation was a breeze, as it only took me roughly 12 minutes to put it all together. The instructions are a bit vague, as it doesn't clearly show, on the instructions, exactly how it's supposed to go. However, you'll notice that they've placed a 'Front ->' sticker on the mechanical part & bottom of the chair. This will help you align everything up. I noticed that some folks were stating that it was hard aligning the holes up. I didn't have that issue. My suggestion is to start by getting one screw in, then go diagonally across the mechanical frame, and place a screw into there. Repeat this process for the other 2 holes, and tighten them up in that same order. However, noting that, only tighten the screw, at first, until it's snug onto the chair frame. Then, once all 4 screws are snug, tighten them completely, in the same order you started them. Doing it this way, I had 0 issues with getting the mechanical frame attached to the chair. That should allevate that issue/concern. The other complaint I saw is there are 2 screws that need to be attached to the chair frame & arm rests. This one was a little bit tricky, as those wouldn't align properly for me. However, I used my free hand (Non-tightening hand) & my knee to help align the holes. This was done by, with my free hand, pulling back on the top of chair (The head rest), and pushing the bottom part of back rest with my knee into the seat. By doing this, I had more control over where the holes were, and I was easily able to get it screwed in, while even placing the screw covers perfectly into the screw holes. Once the chair is completely setup and I sat in it for the first, with someone dealing with back pain, this is one of, if not, the most comfortable chair I've ever sat on. It can even get low enough to the ground that my 5 year old daughter can get herself on it, without any issues. I'm 6'0", so the high back is a huge benefit, and once I sit down on it, I can easily tell that this is a good quality chair. Granted, I'm not going to claim that it's the top of the line, but for the price & the comfortable level, you can't go wrong with this chair, especially since setup is less than 20 minutes.

Terrible, very disappointed. Do not buy, read below...
I've had three of these "style" chairs in the past few years (they just don't last at this price point) and I swear, even though these are sold under different company names or sellers on amazon, these must ALL be made by the same general manufacturer in china. The pieces, the parts, the materials, all eerily similar from one chair to another.. the base, the arm handles, even the little plastic tabs over all the ones I've had over the years are virtually identical. The other two I've owned were OK (not great) the only issue with both, after a very specific determined time was the faux leather material starts peeling and disintegrating and then WATCH OUT. The stuff peels and goes EVERYWHERE, all over the house, all over your clothes, whatever you sit on it wearing.. I mean the stuff literally takes over your house, it's that bad! However...this was the only gripe I had about the first two chairs I owned. No other issues-comfortable, good adjustments, overall not a bad chair. NOW, this one, let me start by saying my two star rating is VERY generous. Basically, again, almost identical to the other two except in one BIG way. The material-same, cushioning-same, plenty of padding for comfort everywhere except where it counts the most, under your rear end, where you sit! No exaggeration here, believe me when I tell you this, absolutely NO padding or cushion! The most important part of a chair, the part of it where your rear end (and most of your weight) goes has virtually no cushioning! It's like sitting on a wooden bench. Two hours sitting on this and I get lower back pain! I'm a younger guy, I've never had back pain in my life..with this I do! Terrible, absolutely terrible. Now, what can I do, I can't return this. Once assembled there is no way to take one of these apart. That suspension gas piece-the one that allows the chair to move up and down, once you insert it into the lower base with the wheels, it bonds, permanently! It would take the jaws of life to get those two pieces apart. So there is absolutely no way to return this. I have to live with it. I put a pillow to cushion the part where I sit and after two weeks, that pillow is completely flattened because of how hard the base is where you sit. I don't write many negative reviews, I've maybe written one or two on hundreds of reviews, but this thing deserves a BIG thumbs down! Very disappointed, sorry. Do not buy!

Just Fair....
Let me start by saying that before you buy this chair, you'll need to carefully consider what you'll be using it for. As an ordinary office chair, it is great and very comfortable to sit for short periods of time, but as a "work chair" in which you'll be sitting and working at a desk for long periods on a daily basis (like I do), it falls way short. I gotta say that I purchased this chair based on the fairly positive reviews it received but I think most people who own this item do not use it for work but rather for casual use and that is what you need to take into account. I've had the chair now for three days and it is functional but after the first few hours working at my desk, I started to experience progressive lower back pain due to the lack of lumbar support. You can probably fix this by getting one of those mesh supports, but why not just get an ergonomically correct chair to begin with? The back of the chair doesn't stay fully upright if you apply pressure by reclining. This may be correctable by making an adjustment, but unfortunately, it does not remedy the back support issue. To sum it up, this is a decent chair for the price you pay as long as you consider the caveats beforehand. PROS: 1) Easy to assemble (20 minutes tops). 2) Reclines comfortably. 3) Adjustable seat that you can move vertically to suit. 4) Swivels very smoothly. CONS: 1) Almost no lumbar support. 2) Very painful to sit in for long periods when working over a desk. 3) Cheap material (faux leather) 4) Back of the chair does not resist reclining.

Great Chair!!
Let me start by saying that I'm the some-assembly-required person everyone in the family goes to around the gift giving holidays. Can't put it together, give it to me. Now that I've said that, let me also say that this was a bitch to put together. Not at first, but at the end. The last bolt. People on here have said that it didn't line up for them, but mine lined up just fine. Mind, you have to keep the bolts loose on one end (the metal base attaching to the chair) so the other end lines up. Don't tighten one after another immediately, only after you've got all 4 bolts in and slightly secured, then tighten them down. I had this problem on the last bolt in the arm rest attaching to the back of the chair. It was lined up, but apparently not enough. I had to lay this on it's side and grapple with lining it up perfectly, then applied pressure and got the bolt in. I now hate Allen wrenches. Now onto the chair itself. It doesn't say anywhere on the product page that this sucker can lean back! I've always loved those kind of chairs and didn't know this one did it, until I sat down to find I could rock back and forth. YES!! That was a nice find. The chair is very comfortable for me as I am a book cover artist and am constantly at my desk. The bit of chair in the small of my back is great and the chair back is tall. It's damn near the top of my head. I'm 5'7 nearly 5'8" and my feet dangle just slightly when it's at its full height. I have a tall desk, so it's great for that! The chair is heavy, once fully assembled. And I won't lie that some reviews are right and that it does smell slightly of gasoline at first, but I got rid of that with some Febreze extra strength that I had around. Overall it's a great chair, despite being surprised at how much the shipping was, it was worth it. We'll see if I continue to say that after a few months.

Worth the investment
So I'm a little skeptical with any desk chairs I buy lately due to the fact that I've had two chairs break down on me in 2years, I'm 5'9" 245lbs. To start my chair arrived earlier than expected 04/07/21, which I thought was pretty cool (even if FedEx was a duche bag and didn't bother to put it near my door but rather at the end of my walkway, thank goodness I have decent neighbors). That being said this is one of the better made chairs I've found; it's got a metal base and I really appreciated the fact that all of the holes aligned when I was putting the chair together; it really took maybe 30 - 45min for me to put it together no longer. I like the massage feature but I honestly could take it or leave it; it's less of a massage and more of a vibration, but it doesn't add or take away from the chair for me. I do find it very comfortable as sometimes I find myself sitting at my desk for several hours with either work or gaming. Truth be told I don't think I'll EVER buy a desk chair again that has the word 'gaming' in it because their all crap; this chair is sturdy, well made and comfortable. The only part of the chair I swapped out were the wheels, because I have carpet and those wheels always break on carpet I went for roller wheels instead and it was a good investment in my situation. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01G643EU6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 these are the wheels that I ordered to replace the one's that come with the chair for anyone that is interested.
