Carnival Crane Claw Game - Features Animation and Sounds for Exciting Pretend Play - Ages 8+

Bought for my 7 year old grandson for Xmas & he loves it! Just sit it on a small towel to drown the sound out because it is really loud & gets annoying. There is no way to turn it down. But he plays it all the time. Was surprised of the quality I would recommend it.

My son wanted a claw game for Christmas. We could not fit (or afford) a real arcade sized, so gave this a shot. It is fantastic. He has not stopped playing it for two days straight. Most grabs get a toy or candy (we filled it with little finger puppets and chocolates), but there is still some skill involved. When you drop a toy into the slot, the machine cheers and shuts off. It took my 6-year-old about five minutes to figure out that anything he pushes into the coin slot will activate the machine, which is no big deal. There is a big pile of fake coins included if you need them though. It was a bit of a hassle getting this ready to play. The claw is wrapped in plastic which must be removed, but there is no way to open up the machine to access the claw. I was able to remove the plastic through the top accessport with some scissors, but it was a bit tedious. There is also a white wire wrapped around the claw moving mechanism that you need to unwind. Once those parts are off, this thing is good to go. It is a bit loud, but a few pieces of packing tape over the speaker holes reduced the sound to a more tolerable level.

I didn't have high expectations for this claw machine but my son really, really wanted it for Christmas. I think he asked for it last year and for his birthday and didn't get it, so I decided to get it for him. I thought it was way overpriced but hoped it would last. Boy was I wrong. We put quite a few things in to start with and it must have been too much because it wouldn't pick anything up. The chain kept getting caught and wouldn't grab things very well. We took a bunch of items out and it worked a little bit better. The music it plays is loud and annoying but my kids thought it was super cool. After dinner, my son went to play with it again and it was completely dead. I thought, surely it didn't run out of batteries already!! We changed the batteries just in case and it still didn't work. I couldn't believe it. I didn't think it would last that long but CERTAINLY more than a day. We ended up sending it back. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

I purchased this as a last minute birthday gift ( along with optional gift wrap). The only reason i gave it 4 starts instead of 3 is because it was a big ht with the children AND adults. However, since this was a last minute gift, I decided to last minute put batteries and toys inside. When I took it out of the gift bag the box (as well as the box it was shipped in) was damaged and when i pulled the carnival game out of the box the plexiglass was cracked and the right side. Since i literally has no time to return the gift or take pictures I still gave the gift as it was along with the gift receipt. UPDATE: This is such an awesome gift but I still haven't learned my lesson! I previously bought one of these (as stated above) and received it damaged and had zero time to return... NOW since this is such a cool toy and i'm obviously a cool aunt I purchased 4 of these as Easter gifts for each family attending our festivities. Here i am again prepping all of the machines for some post-egg hunt gaming and one out of four purchased is damaged (pictures included this time). This time the mail carrier cannot be blamed, as the huge box i received them in was not damaged. This happened prior to the box being shipping out to me :(

I purchased the Crane Game for my 5 year old son for Christmas. He loves to play these games at restaurants, etc. and had been asking Santa for one all season long. He has been playing with it now for over a month and it still works great. The quality of the toy is much better than I expected. It seems to be well made and durable. In fact, he even took the Crane Game to school for show and tell and let twenty other kids have a turn playing with it. Amazingly, the toy still works fine after all that and even his teacher asked where I purchased it. I think this brand is MUCH better than the inexpensive ones I have seen at Toys R Us, etc. You definitely get what you pay for in this case.

El producto me llegó en la fecha prometida y en buen estado, ya había investigado previamente qué tipo de baterías utiliza y compré los peluchitos por separado. Le pongo 4 estrellas porque considero que le hace falta más especificaciones en el instructivo, pero en general ha funcionado bien. La música de fondo es algo ruidosa pero no molesta, es parte de la emoción de sacar el premio.

No me gusta que tenga que funcionar con pilas normales, debería traer pilas recargables.

Casi desechable, y debería tener un botón para apagar la música de ser necesario
