I’ve been using this for 3 months now. Works great. Easy to attach, has never fallen off. Easy to disconnect the Uniden to hide it while shopping.

These things are awesome. I have one for each car. Super secure - will stick to the black dots on your windshield if you have them, radar detector doesn't bounce. If you have multiple cars, these awesome. Quality is pretty good - not amazing but still quite solid. I use with an R8W. They've come a long way from the old days (just recently got back into radar detectors).

Pricey but it holds my R8 detector firmly. I highly recommend this product.

Left my original mount in a rental car. This is a perfect replacement. Identical to original.

Pretty good. Seems that it holds great the first time it’s installed. If you take it down, getting it to continue to hold is challenging. Cleaned the glass and the suction cup as soon as the windshield gets hot, it falls off. The design is good and not sure what is needed to make these reusable. Very easy install. Just ensure the windshield is cleaned with an alcohol pad, peel off the protective backing on the suction cup. Position carefully as once you close the lock, removing may mean it won’t stick right again. I just buy a new one as I hope to keep it on my current car for 4 years.

Works excellent I’ve bought 2 already using it for my uniden r8. Stays in place and clips in nicely.

This is a definite step up over the mounting device that came with my R7. Initially thought the price was steep, but the difference over the suction bracket that came with my unit and that I've used for years is night and day. Well worth the money.

I bought this mount to be able to quickly move my Uniden R8 from one car to the other without having to remove and reinstall the suction cup mount every time. It works as advertised and made having one radar detector for multiple vehicles easy.
