This is a great little ratchet to get into tight places. It's heavy and very durable. The ratchet action is smooth.

3/8” drive palm ratchet. Excellent for tight spots. Have 1/4” palm & this completes the set. Used on my Volvo XC60 repair. Gearwrench quality. 3/8” palm drive more common size to complete 3/8” drive tool set.

When shipped, the very close tolerances of this tool make the gimbal joints more than a little stiff. For some uses, that's a feature, but when combined with the smooth polished surface of the outer ring, the tendency for working environments to be full of lubricants, and the awkwardness of some of the places where this seems most useful, a little more free play makes it work even better. It's worth having, and in my experience it becomes better as it wears in. a few grip nubs on the outer ring might make it even better.

Great small hand tool for quick ratcheting instead of using a large hand tool and tight places

I have very few GearWrench tools but this is a must have. It's smooth, almosts acts as a fidget spinner for mechanics. When you need it, you'll need it bad. I recommend you own one as well.
