BEYOND EXCELLENT
Outstanding! I love this beautifully made design. The lines are sleek, the craft is amazing. And you can FEEL the weight and quality of the gold. Go for it! It’s an amazing value for a piece you’ll keep forever.

Immediately reacted Edit: I was wrong
Initially, I bought this product bc I wanted to switch out my plastic cheaper nose ring. I'm a weirdo who reacts to normal piercing metals, including surgical grade stainless steel. Anyway, I got this nose ring in hopes of a reaction free pretty nose... Nope. My skin reacted within hours of putting the nose ring in. The nose ring is pretty, for sure. Dainty and perfect in size. Just didn't work for me at all. Edit: So, hard headed me decided to give this ring another try about two weeks later. I'm so glad that I did. Zero reaction, looks beautiful. I've had it in for at least a week now with zero problems. I'm so glad I tried again! It must have been too early for me to be switching rings out. This one is perfect. Edit #2: yeahhhhh, I was wrong again. It took about 2 weeks, but my skin again reacted to the piercing.

ALL BUYERS BEWARE, NOT SIZED PROPERLY AS OTHER REVIEWERS HAVE NOTED!!
Item is marked as 18 gauge, sold as 18 gauge BUT it is NOT actually 18 gauge, more like 20 gauge AT BEST as other reviewers have noted. Ball end is exceptionally small as well, it basically disappears into the piercing hole! Disappointed by this glaring quality control issue, it could be an honest mistake BUT it seems to be deliberately deceptive on the part of the SELLER and AMAZON! Giving one star because I can't give ZERO!

Highly Reccommend
It’s exactly as described by the seller, solid, and well made., solid 14k gold! The “L” post is sturdy, not thin and not too thick either. I highly recommend buying this nose jewelry if you are looking for a cute solid gold nose stud that goes with everything and you could wear everyday!

Good size but flawed, & no 14k stamp
The nose stud I received fits me perfectly and has a comfortably rounded end for insertion. It does measure 1mm/18g as advertised, as well as being the same thickness as all my other 18g studs (I double-checked after seeing reviews saying it was only .8mm/20g); the ball measures 1.5mm as described; the length from just under the ball end to the L-bend is 1/4" as described, too. It's possible some people are receiving incorrectly sized pieces, but it seems more likely that those saying their stud is too small/too big/too long/too short actually just don't know what size they need for their individual nostril and piercing. (Ask your piercer!) A correctly sized L-bend nose stud is definitely not going to randomly fall out on its own, and if your piercing is 18g/1mm, a 1.5mm ball end should not be falling into your piercing hole (though you may have a thicker nostril and need a longer post so it isn't being forced in). All that said, I'm skeptical of the 14k solid gold claim, because my stud does not have a 14k stamp anywhere on it - I even checked with my jeweler's loupe after I couldn't find one just by looking at it. I also received a flawed stud, with a dented/crimped ball end that's visible to the naked eye and even more visible with magnification, rather than a nice smooth shiny sphere as shown, so it's less shiny to the eye when worn than it should be. I've requested a replacement, and I'll update this when I hopefully get a non-defective piece. If it truly is solid 14k, not just plated, and if I get a well-made one to replace this, I'll be very happy with it as it's just the right size to be subtle but visible and very cute. Update: I ended up getting two replacements, and all three of them have the surface flaws in the ball end. Due to the low price and liking just about everything else about it, I've decided to keep the best one out of the three and send the other two back. I'll update further if the metal shows any signs of not being actual solid 14k gold, or if I get it confirmed with a jeweler.
