Q: I often sit cross-legged will the seat "wings" be an issue?

LOL, I'm sitting at my desk cross-legged right now. The wings are not a problem for me at all. I love this chair. It's comfortable and very nice looking. My dog (now my co-worker) is always putting his big paws up on the arm of the chair to get my attention and there are no marks or scrapes at all, so it's sturdy material.

Q: Different reviews say this does or doesnt recline. Which is it?

Mine reclines. It’s a nice chair for the price.

Q: how high is the back from the seat?

This is not true for my chair! 30.5 inches total height and only 27 inches from the seat. This is why it is not ergonomic for average height americans.
