Really seems to be helping my 15 year old poodle mix.

This was a great size and so far it seems to be helping my old guy with his joints. He had trouble walking around much and shaky legs. He has been taking this for about a week or more and I think this has given him some pain relief. He has been walking, running and playing a little bit with his favorite toy. It is in little spurts but I will take it. This should imporve his health overall over time with continued use. He is such a picky guy and I mixed it with a beef broth. He doesn't notice it at all and I don't smell anything strong from this. The package came intake nothing leaked and it was sealed perfectly. I would say give it a try to help relieve pain for you dog and or help prevent the loss of joint issues. It also is great for dogs who are extremely picky on food. This is so easy to use and slip into many things.

I have known for over 50 years of raising German Shepherd dogs, that they are notorious for hip dysplasia, an inherited condition where the hip doesn't develop correctly, causing it to be loose and unstable. Well, I believe this is the best product for my Samson. I could see a difference in him in just one day. I put it in this water and in his food. His spark of energy was amazing. He even started wagging his tail. Samson is going on 15 years. He is also losing his sight. He's my buddy.

I have nothing but great things to say about this product. As my pitbull mix started getting up there in age it was apparent that she was struggling with arthritis and generally being uncomfortable quite a bit of the time. I did a bunch of research trying to figure out the best things I could do to try and help her. Most everything I was looking at was much more expensive than this product and having this in liquid form makes it easier to administer than in pill form. At first after ordering I was a little worried that my dogs might not like the flavor but that was quickly dismissed with the first feeding and now our younger one won't touch her dinner unless it has this dosed with it. After only about 3 weeks I noticed my senior dog was moving around a little better and looking better overall. Before I started giving her this product she could not jump for a toy and land without her hind legs giving out and falling down. After about 2 months or so she was more willing to jump around and her legs were no longer giving out on her when she was landing. It has been since January of 2012 that I have been ordering and getting this for her just about every month. The dosing amounts are on the bottle as well as the measurements which makes it very easy. As my old girl is now going on 13 years old I know it's getting close to the end but I can only imagine how much worse off she would be without having this as a part of her diet. We started giving it to our younger mixed breed as well about a year ago when she was around 5 years old in order to prevent the onset of arthritis as she gets older, trying to delay it a bit because her build and long legs it seems it will be a problem down the road. I can honestly say I believe this product is part of the reason my Hennessey is still around and in the best condition as possible in her current situation. I suggest this to anybody who has a dog, and Glucosamine/Condroitin in general for any pet or human, that is or will possibly be dealing with arthritis and joint pain. The formula is different from human to K-9 product so be sure to order and take the correct stuff!

This is a wonderful supplement for dogs with joint issues. I have three pit bull mixes, which is a breed prone to hip and knee injuries. One of my dogs has already had TPLO surgery at three years of age for a torn cruciate ligament. She is now 5 and the other two are 3 and 4. I have been feeding this supplement to the first dog since her surgery and she has almost no indication that she ever had a knee injury. The other two have been on it for the past year and so far have shown no signs of joint pain or issues, despite their extremely active daily play. Many people don't realize how little regulation there is of animal supplements and that many products simply don't contain what they say they do, because they aren't required to. This product is certified by the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC), which is a highly regarded non-profit group that tests and affirms that products contain the ingredients advertised in a useable form and in the quantity listed. I have found no higher quality source of Glucosamine HCl, Condroitin and MSM at such a reasonable price and in such an easy to administer liquid form. That said, my one complaint is over the dispensing method. The container includes a special side chamber that can be filled by squeezing the bottle. This is intended to allow a user to dispense a small amount accurately; however the sides of the chamber are opaque plastic, so it is nearly impossible to see the level of the liquid inside to compare against the marks on the outside. Not only that, but the listed dosages are in 1, 2 or 3 tsp while the measurements on the chamber are 1, 3 and 6 tsp. So to get a 2 tsp dose, you would have to somehow estimate a level halfway between the 1 and 3 tsp mark through opaque plastic. In other words, I find the dispensing chamber useless for measuring. It should be half the current width to allow accurate measurements of the 1 - 3 tsp dosages indicated and should include a translucent window to allow the user to see the fluid level inside. To accurately measure my animal's dosages, I instead use a 2 tsp oral medication syringe such as http://www.amazon.com/Monoject-Oral-Medication-Syringe-With/dp/B001AIKUZG. The dispensing chamber is a handy reservoir for the syringe.
