Bought these and a set of monitor audio in ceiling speakers. One for the bathroom and the other for the ensuite. Both are hooked up to an airport express through Temple Audio amplifiers. These speakers seem to have more punch and sweater high frequencies. They just sound so much better then the Monitor Audios which cost over twice the price. They exceeded my expectations when installed in the ceiling. Testing before hand side by side out of situe the Monitor Audios sounded much better but installed in their final position these out perform the Monitor Audios.

For the price these are great speakers. Very solidly built and extremely easy to install, though compared to routing/installing the wire run, the speaker installation itself is usually the easiest part of in-wall speakers. Will this speaker compete with audiophile grade and priced speakers - YES and NO! - YES in that it does sound nice and clear AND because the stereo audio from 1 speaker will sound much better / more "normal" than a single (non-stereo) speaker. I would not use this for a home theater system, but for whole-house audio often people don't realize how "odd" speakers will sound compared to standard paired (2) speakers. Just throwing 2 speakers in a room will not give a proper stereo experience, but sitting directly in front of a single 1 of these speakers will. - NO in that you do get what you pay for to some extent. I would put these up against speakers costing twice as much, but these are not audiophile grade.

Acheté pour mettre prochainement dans une salle de bain en étant relié à un ampli hifiberry (monté sur un raspberry pi zero WH avec l'OS picoreplayer). Cela fonctionne correctement lors du test. Par contre, l'effet stéréo semble absent. A valider lors de l'installation finale dans le faux plafond avant d'en commander d'autres pour d'autres pièces.

Love these speakers! I used them for dolby atmos and they sound fantastic! Little pricey but good speakers aren't cheap!
