i just ordered more b.c out of the can this food consistently appears and smells fresh. my dog loves it for the most part, almost as much as Acana. i use it as a half wet half kibble type topper and my guy licks the bowl clean. Jed is looking out for his birthday hamburger delivery in this pic, but you get the idea.

Katie is 16 mos, now 17 mos old. Bred with a lost litter, GSD. She'd been beaten, and starved. The SPCA rescued her and I had just lost my 11 year old 95 lb GSD to age and illness. She was a God send and a find. She weighed in at 54 lbs and should have been 80 lbs. She'll be a big girl when she finishes but this quality meat in a can is part of the rescue. Never once did it disagree with her in her heartworm, hookworm, bacterial state. I mix it with the Nutro GMO free puppy food, along with organic vitamins, minerals, organic omega 3, organic free range chicken eggs, and organic powdered buttermilk to make gravy. Katie eats 6 - 8 cups of food for now. She's gained 20 lbs in 6 weeks. She's been to the groomer 2x and they are floored at the change in her. The vet is tickled and we are about to see how the heart worm treatment has worked but her energy is very high and she loves to bounce up and down and be a puppy when we play. She's still learning and she still has issues but she loves to cuddle and squirm in my arms. I feel with this product is quality, solid cans of meat, that has put the glow back into my little girl. I've used Nutro products on other dogs and love the quality. Thanks Nutro for helping me rescue my little girl!!!!!!!!

I have a chihuahua who's going on 19 years old (human years). I adopted her about 13 years ago and the first thing I had to do was get most of her teeth removed. I discovered that she wasn't digesting the dry food so I had no choice but to stop dry food altogether and put her on canned food. She's done very well on the Nutro. I have to feed her in a puzzle dish even at 19 to stop her from gulping it down. Most dogs go nuts for canned food (I call it crack!) and she's no different so I go with the loaf style because she has to lick it up and the puzzle dish to slow her down even more. I've managed to keep her weight reasonable and she plays like a puppy. I wouldn't change her to any other dog food and my Papillon eats Nutro dry food with a teeny bit of wet food. I also use the Nutro treats. Highly recommend it and I always get it through Amazon.
