This product is perfect for cats who have a kidney problem. Fine cuts of meat/fish in gravy which my cat loves.She licks the gravy off first then eats the meat.

Very pleased with these. My cat wasn't eating the Purina Renal pouches I tried her on, so I needed to find a fix - getting a variety pack of these let me test which she liked more (she seems to like all of them). Fast delivery was a big plus, as obviously my cat not eating at all was a big issue.

My rescue cat has been diagnosed with CKD and CIE so we need to switch him to the right nutritional balance which means a rena/hypoallergenic diet. From past experience with renal foods I didn't have much hope that he would take to these, but I have been pleasantly surprised which was the first light in all this as we have had a terrible week with him in one cat hospital after another and are facing a huge bill. It is such a relief that he will happily eat these and he seems to like both the beef and chicken varieties. He will eat the fish but it takes him longer and he leaves a little hence 4 stars. Royal Canin is an expensive brand but if it helps slow the disease it will be worth the extra cost, and this supplier seems quite reasonable so i've put it on subscription to make it a bit more affordable.

This Royal Canin Renal Cat Food is incredibly expensive and comes with quite limited flavour options. My cat has kidney disease and needs to stick to a special diet like this, but I feel so sorry for him — it’s restrictive and not very exciting for him to eat. It’s frustrating how much these specialised foods cost, and I can’t help but feel that pet food companies are really exploiting pet owners with the high prices for such limited choices. It’s a tough situation, but I just wish there were more affordable and appealing options for cats needing special diets.
