I found the Bostitch Office Battery Pencil Sharpener to be a fantastic addition to my workspace. It works great and has a slim design that makes it a real space saver on my desk. The battery life is impressive, lasting a long time between changes, and it sharpens well, giving pencils a perfect point every time. The Tip Saver technology is a nice touch to prevent over-sharpening. If you need a reliable, portable sharpener that doesn't take up much room, this is a perfect choice!

This battery operated sharpener is powerful and works great. Didn’t have plug space at this desk, so the battery operated model was just what we needed. About the same size as my electric sharpener, just as easy to use as the electric one, empties like the electric one and sharpens just as fast. Perfect for our needs.

Works great. Very handy that it doesn't have to be plugged in. The batteries seem to last a long time and it does a good job of sharpening pencils.

Seems good so far. Have not used it too many times. A little big for where I need to put it. Easy to use.

At first I was going to face the pain of returning this. But I decided to keep it, ONLY because it's for my kids. They won't know that it sucks, they will only see that it's pink. The motor is very weak and feels like it will break easily. There's also something wrong with the sensor. If you put the pencil in too far, the sharpener stops working entirely. I hope my video demonstrating what I mean brings you endless joy. Another clue to have cheaply it was made is that the batteries barely fit in the case. So, it seemed like the measurements provided to the manufacturer were slightly off, but it turned out just good enough to still be able to sell.

Really does sharpen pencils to a good point. I've used this for loads of pencils now, including a big box of coloured pencils for the kids and it's still holding up. Battery life is great and it seems well built. Does sharpen quite quickly though so if you're using expensive artist pencils be careful not to waste pencil.

This is a 'proper' item with rotating cutters, and does a quick and efficient job with the smaller standard diameter pencils including colour pencils. But you won't get a junior triangular Faber-Castell through the aperture! Powered by four AA batteries, which you supply. I like the side entry design and the easily removable large shavings bin, and the overall light weight. Price is attractive, too.
