Great Sound

These maracas are better than moringas unless we're talking pies nothing like a moringa pie. So get some and enjoy shaking it up while you're having some pie.

Well made, inexpensive Maracas. Fits my medium size hands perfectly. I predominately play acoustic and electric guitar and decided I needed some peripherals like percussion, tambourine and anything that makes cool noises. Even if you are inexperienced like I am, you can make music and have fun. When a song I like comes on the radio, I sometimes pick these up off my desk and start a-shaking.

Yeah, a little while ago I reviewed the Red Stripe version of these. The Reds shape at a higher tone than the Greens. So I'd recommend getting a set of each, the two reds in the right hand, and the two greens in the Left, with the Balls going off in opposite directions. This would give you more opportunity for sub timing definition and subtlety. However, these maracas as thick wood, with a very dampened quiet sound. They're great for practice when you don't want your back ground music to disturb others, or even just your cats. But, no, in any real party where the music would be cranked up to Party Level, well, these Clunkers would go inaudible.

If you are into percussion instruments you would love playing these Maracas just hold one in front of you sorta low then the other and start to shake and gradually go into a double shake and you will hear the notes inside the Maracas playing a little tune for you. Go on YouTube and you will have people there to show you how to make some noise with your Maracas but in a delightful way. I really enjoy them, If you like this type of Instrument you will like them too. The quality is fine and the style is great and If you take care of them they will last you a long time. They are nice to have around.
