These are very easy to assemble and light weight.y cats had no issues when I took them to the Vet in these. If you are looking for carriers that save space, are light weight, and inexpensive, these are the ones for you.

*I tried to upload photos, but Amazon wouldn't let me...I travel with my cat on planes, trains, and in cars a lot. She is not a nervous traveler.- Mesh is sturdy and though. Very see thru, not ideal if you're trying to hide that fact that you have a cat/dog. i.e. going to the store etc.-Leash inside is perfect length to open the windows and not allow the cat to exit the carrier-Very washable, can put the whole carrier and the floor cover as well in the washer (air dry)-- hot water, gentle cycle has worked well for me- Perfect side for the airlines. When it's under the seat in front of me, I still hav ~8inches width to put my feet next to her carrier.-Top opening, makes it easy to get her in and out. Also, can but my foot in the carrier from the top if she is to settling down on a flight-While traveling, I hang a sweatshirt over the carrier. Since there are windows on all side, plus the top. If I want her to sleep and relax, the sweatshirt helps to make it darker. When we get to the gate, I usually let her look out all 4 windows.Cons:-Side carry strap is not very sturdy. When I carry it on my shoulder, the carrier flips and tilts. Not a good ride for my cat.-Not a lot of pockets/storage space. If you are traveling with an animal on airlines, the carrier counts as your personal item. So I travel with a rolling suitcase (4 wheels) and the carrier on top. It is kind of annoying not having a pocket for my passport, water bottle, charging cables, etc that I would normally have in my backpack under the seat in front of me.- When the main side entrance is fully unzipped, the roof of the carrier sags down. This is only a problem is your cat hangs out in the carrier at home. This is not a problem when traveling as all sides are zipped and secured. My cat doesn't seem to mind, but I do. My solution has been to keep the full zippered side closed and keep the half zippered side open.

Very big and sturdy dog carrier can fit up to 25lbs dog. I return it because it was too big for my 2 month old dog

This is a great cat carrier. I use it for vet appointments or just to isolate the cat for other travel ect. Very comfortable and safe

I'm tempted to order a second one, it is such a great carrier. Have used it in the car and I was pleased to see that it did not collapse when I fasted the seat belt (lap portion) around the bottom of it. The design is amazing and incredibly sturdy for a soft carrier. They thought of everything. There is a removable shoulder strap that neatly tugs into a pouch on the side, if removed (or you could use the pouch for something else). There is also a wide side strap where the carrier could be attached securely to luggage like a rolling carry on, which would be very helpful for airline travel. Did I mention how sturdy it is? To get kitten used to it, I left it open and on the ground for her to explore, she loves all the carrying handles and flaps and has bitten and kicked and played with the whole carrier, I was a little worried, the carrier could get damaged from her tearing at it, but not one frayed strand of material. She always walks inside on her own volition. Also, I washed the padding on the delicate setting, and line dried it; did not shrink. Be careful to remove the wood insert prior to washing. We did wrap the wood in plastic prior to reinsertion to protect it from accidents. It is a tight fit, but works well. Also, the carrier did not have any smell, just a regular new fabric smell upon opening that dissipated quickly.
