I bought this for a friend of mine's son for his 3rd birthday. He's mad for anything with big wheels and chunky vehicles in general. He loves it! I had a Tonka dump truck very similar to this back in the 70s and I must say I'm really impressed with the build quality. Tonka toys were always renowned for how robust they were and that they couldn't be broken. I was expecting the build quality to have deteriorated over the last 40 years but this was pretty much exactly the same as the one I had all those years ago. I'm impressed. If you looking for something that will go the distance and be able to withstand the punishment of a little one throwing it around then it's money well spent. Highly recommended.

Brilliant. Had it over 2 years now. As good as new inside and out. Even found a 2 year old being pushed around in it. ,(Not sure that is recommended)

If you remember these from when you were you younger (yes you are old), you will remember how indescructable they were - Fond memories. These newer ones prob not so much, but robust enough for young'uns and sheer size and playability will certainly keep them entertained. My nephew of 2 loves his and bit of shoelace gives it the pull along it deserves. I've seen these go for £20 in previous years, so paying double was a bit of sting, but until we get timetravel sorted, tonka start selling in the masses again...price we are at. Will certainly consider others in the range. Factor space if you do though, they are huge

My Grandson loved this great truck. It is very sturdy and very good quality He spent hours pushing it backwards and forwards and putting things in it and then tipping them out. Successful purchase!

This is a Christmas box for my Grandson but when I checked it over its definitely well made and I know my Grandson will love it.

I bought this for my 2yr old Nephew, this will definitely survive longer than any other toy he'll ever get. Not so sure about the furniture lol I had one 40 odd years ago, ok 45 years ago. The design has slightly evolved, it has a little more detail and realism, but it's the same big steel and tough plastic chunk of thing they made in the 70's.

Oh my goodness this is such good value for money! The dumper part at the top is made of metal so really durable. It's so big my 2 year old can sit in it and be pushed along by big bro 🙈 It has really chunky wheels so is easy for him to push around. Love it! Only negative is labels come off really quickly, and would prefer more metal parts than just dumper

This truck arrived on time and was perfect for the baby shower gift I was giving -- its large size made a huge impact and I was able to fill the back with lots of gifts. Now that baby has arrived, the dump part makes a cute baby holder for photos
