Good unit on smooth road,holds my Galaxy 5 securely until I hit ruff road on HW35 in Lavallette NJ.My S5 was launched into the air,my Otter defender saved the phone.I asked my wife one of her large hair bands and place across the top and bottom of the phone and HR Grip housing,now the phone is secure and has never come loose.

Gets the job done. There are products that look better and might function better (IE: hold your drvice more securely) but for the price, this one does the trick! No issues with a dropped device at all. Doesn't come with directions, so non-problem solving savey consumers beware.

I use this on my mtn bike , have spilled bad twice and my phone was still in the holder. works so good I bought a 2nd for the wifes bike .

Too bulky.
