Ralph Lauren Barbie, Bloomingdale's Limited Edition

This is one of my favorite Barbies that I bought back in 1996 when I was working at the Bloomingdale's Store. I gave mine to my Mom as she loved it too (because she likes Ralph Lauren fashions). When I saw it on here brand new, I bought it immediately. This beauty just arrived today & I'm delighted. So beautiful, sophisticated, classic, & wish I had her clothes for myself too! This is not to be played with by children & definitely don't change her clothes nor hair as she is perfect already. Her shoes fall off easily so I put them temporarily in her purse. I did the same thing for my Mom's Barbie back in 96. Needs little clear rubber bands to keep the shoes on. This is minor. I prefer to think of her being more relaxed barefoot. :) Highly recommend to those who collect Barbies with classic style.

This is one of the most beautiful and classy Barbie Collectible dolls ever produced. I missed it when it came out in the mid- nineties and was thrilled to find it, NRFB, from an Amazon Marketplace vendor, HSD Books. I wasn’t able to leave a Sellers Feedback but I’m super pleased with their service, fast shipping, price and great packing. the barbie is very beatiful but arrived in very bad conditions

Had to have this Barbie to join my cast of characters who were almost all blonde. RL Barbie proved a valuable addition for a photo shoot about the Great Recession, mortgage crisis, etc. Sure, blondes have financial trouble - who doesn't? - but RL Barbie, with her respectable attire and responsible-looking visage and that sensible brown hair - if she can't keep her house and a job, who can? Alas, she turned to the entertainment and food service industries to make a living - it happens, but she also found herself through her journey from a high-rise, decked-out apartment and a well-paying, soulless office job to a tiny apartment in Las Vegas working at a greasy spoon, and a few other establishments. The camel-hair(ish) coat is fantastic as are the wool(ish) pants and turtleneck. But put her in a halter dress and she is all fun. Incredibly versatile and like all Barbies, a great model for any photographer. Have fun!

Love it. But I think I paid too much

The cloths are well made, look like the classic Ralph Lauren outfit. I am very happy with this doll.

In Australia, we have few designer or collector barbies. I have around 10 now, all from amazon. They are all sent quickly in great condition. I love Ralph Lauren and was thrilled to find this classic barbie. My other favourite is the Vera wang first bride doll and I also love my new coach barbie.
