So as a lipstick junky I have purchased expensive namebrand and drug store brand lipsticks but honestly as long as it works im not picky..Let me tell you this brand is better than some of my more pricey ones..I first bought this from CVS for about $14 so when I saw Amazon sold my color for under $5 that made me very happy..Lol.....I got the cor Wild Thoughts and it works very well with my skin tone amd lasts a while.......(Edit) Bought candy Addict and the color just isn't natural.Very bright but maybe someone with a different skin tone would like it ..

Update: It'd hard finding these matte revlon anywhere else, decided to repurchase color 002 mocha and thankfully the lipstick was unopened. So I regained my trust and would recommend. These Revlon are my go to and wish they brought them back in stores. The colors are great and not drying. Wild thoughts Packaging was great and sticker on lipstick seemed brand new, however, it was disappointing finding out that the product has been opened and tested before. Revlon, if you are reading this, sell the lipsticks directly, don't go through 3rd parties as no label or security packaging is guaranteed. Bring these lipsticks back this round packaging is way more convenient.

Picture is deceiving it’s not pink it’s actually brown-ish when you see it in person. I’m updating my review to a positive one even though the color is misguided as the quality of this lipstick it’s actually great! It’s smooth, silky and it stays put for a few hours. I would buy more shades.

I had hope this would be a mauve like color…as shown is the picture advertised… I can only speak for myself…I am a “winter” (if you still remember that color wheel from years gone by that helped determine what clothing & make-up would best enhance each individual’s skin tone)…Basically my skin is very pale/fair w/dark brown hair/brows. If an outfit is too light, or make-up has a yellow/tan tint…it’s a disaster. The long- (& not very short of it-)…I look better in darker colors-especially prime hues (and not the proprietary variations of mixing these colors). I opened it up-and saw it was more of a neutral than a mauve…then in combo w/my skin (upon application) it looked like a mustard orange-(if that possibility exists). Now, I am certain for those w/darker tones & yellowish or olive highlights ~ the combination of their lip color and this lipstick shade would look totally different. PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND…! For the other qualities (before I quickly wiped it off)…[] I noted no scent, [] a smooth application… [] w/a moisturizing texture [] that seemed it would probably last a while (<— this latter based on my degree of effort in removing it). I am grateful for AMAZON’s Customer Service helping me w/a refund. A HUGE plus! Just sharing my personal experience… I still am in a bit of shock at the stunning difference. I did give it to a friend (w/an alcohol wipe 😉)…I will try to take a picture of the stick itself-for your comparison purposes.

I love this lipstick. It’s pretty for every day not just special occasions. For me, it’s difficult to find a color that suites my skin without being too pink. This goes on smooth and has a creamy moisturizing effect. I bought the mauve color and really enjoy adding some of my pomegranate color Burts Bees chapstick with it to give it more shine although it’s perfectly fine on its own. As for longevity, it’s like most typical lipsticks, something that has to be reapplied a few times a day. This shade is not bold yet not as subdued as nude shades can be. I notice my cheek’s natural rosy-ness comes out with this shade so no need for blush. For comparison, I have a pale neutral skin tone with dark brown eyes and ash brown hair with carmel and honey highlights.

Untold Stories arrived in a bag marked “new item” however the tube is cracked/broken with color smeared on the outside. Unable to return it. Unhappy as this item is from the Revlon store not a third party seller. No way to contact them either. I also ordered two other shades, Wild Thoughts arrived intact, If I Want To is back ordered and will be cancelled.

Wife here writing this . Gorgeous lipstick , goes on smoothly with no pulling which is important for matte lipsticks. I purchased the color Wild Thoughts and in real life it is a perfect medium pink color which looks like natural lips but better . There is another review here where the woman is wearing the lipstick in a photo and it is an accurate representation of what you get. I have a matte lipstick by a very high end brand and I love this Revlon one even more . It really is my new favorite lip color , I found the holy grail of a perfect pink lip !

Product arrived damaged, was so disappointed. This is my best brand of lipstick, and love the color! But when it arrived? No plastic was around it, and lipstick was all broken inside.. I threw it out. Because I knew I couldn't get to my shipping company to return it,cause of health problems & I'm.in a wheelchair & dont drive. It was only $7.99, so not worth the troubles to return it. However! I was so happy with this seller! The seller said no need to return it, and they are shipping me a replacement, no other charges! Gee, wish all sellers were like this! And that's why I gave 4 stars. Will update this review after I receive replacement. Other than this problem? Shipping was super fast. There was no damage to package, just product. And I'm happy I'm getting a replacement. Because I do love these brand and color. Can't wait to try it. The lipstick is smooth, and leaves a nice matte finish. It’s not super long wearing, but it fades nicely, if that makes sense, more so than some of the longer wearing matte lipsticks I’ve tried. Id buy it again, just because I love the colour so much!
