These are very good quality. They have nice weight and are very sharp. I have worked as a chef and these are some of the best knives I have used. Right out of the box with no sharpening needed. Very nice looking.

Very sharp hardened steel. Holds an edge well. Cuts through steak like it was butter. Heavy blade that won't bend or skid sideways. Best steak knives I've ever seen. Also useful for cutting vegetables, boning chicken. Great for slicing tomato. Non serrated so can be sharpened when needed though I haven't needed to yet.

They're attractive and sharp, and work well. Easy to keep sharp since they are not serrated.

Very sharp and well balanced

These are beautiful, well-made knives; however, they are NOT Damascus steel. The blades are imprinted with "Damascus Super Steel", and they are all identical. They are most likely chemically etched to give the look of Damascus steel. They really are beautiful, but not as advertised.

This is the first knife that I'm using for work and is really good. Maybe is to big for me but it works pretty well

These are beautiful and solid as a rock. I think they are my husband’s favorite gift ever. Highly recommend.

There is an etched pattern on the surface but its not folded steel. You can't control the pattern that appears on folded Damascus and the pattern extends all the way to the edge, regardless of sharpening/polishing. The pattern appears in Damascus steel because different grades of steel are welded and folded repeatedly. These knives have an etched pattern the perfectly matches the photos, but very light and only visible at the right angle. Still good quality knives, but buy them as stainless steel knives

Mise à jour après 8 semaines : ils sont toujours appréciés, mais leur entretien est plus exigeant que mes autres couteaux de qualité présumée similaire ... autrement dit, l'acier de ces couteaux est de qualité INFÉRIEURE à la présumée qualité équivalente à du VG10, car ils nécessitent beaucoup plus régulièrement un coup d'entretien avec une "ceramic rod" que mes autres acquisitions. Excellente première impression lors de la réception. Bel emballage, propre et minutieux. Au premier regard, ils sont très plaisants pour l'oeil, avec leur forme générale, leur motif (gravé ou réel) sur la lame, la qualité de finition du bois, le poids massif et le tranchant impressionnant. Excellente dimension. Très confortable à tenir et sensation de qualité dans la main. Restera à voir question longévité de la lame, comment longtemps ils garderont leur tranchant et s'ils sont à la hauteur de la prétention d'un acier similaire à du VG10. Clairement, ils ne sont pas japonais, mais bien chinois... mais semblent de très bonne qualité.
