Cobb Premier Air Charcoal Barbecue Grill and Carry Bag

Bought this to take away in our camper van. Ideal for 2 people - if cooking for more you would need to eat and put further items onto the grill. We bought the Cobbs to grill on to save space, they are great, light very easily and keep going for ages leaving little mess. Love the fact that the base doesn’t get hot and the ashes are all contained, both important safety features. Easy to keep clean, we used a sponge with a green scrubbing pad on one side and this was sufficient, haven’t tried it in the dishwasher as it didn’t need a further clean on our return home. Love it!

This is a great bbq, a little expensive,but the quality is superb. So you get what you pay for. I really like that the outside mesh stays cool to the touch so ideal when young grandchildren are around. It is so easy to clean and the coconut cobble bricks are so quick to heat up. I cut mine in half when there are just two of us. Great for the beach .

very good camping cooker

Superb bit of kit. I used a few standard cheap briquettes in the bottom instead of paying silly amounts for the Cobb ones, ant it worked brilliantly. I followed the instructions as normal and used it to cook a load of chicken wings. Lit the coals, waited till they turned white, put the wings on, put the lid on, opened the vents half way and they cooked to perfection with a succulent taste which was a cross between BBQ and Smoker. Brilliant for the motorhome. The bottom stays cool at all times and no nasty burn marks left on the ground.

Bought as a gift so cannot comment on performance

I was looking for a portable BBQ that I could also use on our small boat. The base and outside remain cool, so it makes it versatile. Its simple to use and uses suprising little charcoal, I also bought some Cobb bricks to fuel & these are good for longer cooking (e.g. roast chicken) Mine was delivered missing the fuel basket, but I contacted the manufacturer and they shipped a replacement next day. I like a company who looks after their customers. It takes some cleaning after, but we like roasting vegetables in the "oil bath" so its worth it. I love it, recommended.

Wish it had a roasting rack with it
