Works great
I have done 3 batches so far and it worked great. It didn't trip any circuit besides being close to the power rate.

It heats up.
Has worked well so far. Water scale seems to be easy to clean off of it. It has finally discolored after using it to cook a very high starch mash. Through several different washes it has worked well.

Great addition to someone needing an electric heating source who is familiar with electric wiring.
I used it to use my conical fermenter as a boil kettle for a distillation apparatus. This combined with a variac allowed me to control the rate of heating. The distillation proceeded smoothly. The amperage draw was as expected. It requires wiring and care should be taken to use an appropriate power cord.

Easy to swap or replace with another unit.
Needed this for a project and the tri-clamp fitting is what drew my attention. Note that the cable gland is a PG-21. It is too big for any cable I am using on 120V. To achieve a sealed entrance, I used 3/4" x 1/2" reducer bushing and a 3/4" electrical locknut on the inside of the housing. I then bought some 1/2" NPT cable glands to thread into the reducer.

Worked well.
Look good, came well packaged. Work just fine right out of box. Verdict is still out on how long it will last, but just from the looks it is manufactured very well and seem to be of heavy constructed stainless steel.

Product defective
Under the plastic head where you connect the wiring broke loose and caused a direct short and fused the connections together and caught fire and kicked my breaker out.

I used this for a DIY all in one brewing setup. You need to make your own enclosure for the electronics. I would HIGHLY recommend connecting the ground line to your triclamp connector for some vague sense of safety as the element does not have a connection on it for that. personally i like this as safety is not my priority. beer is. This is a low watt density heater and I have not had any issues with burnt wort because of it.
