Great adhesive especially for attaching carbon fiber parts to vehicles.
Been using Permatex for several decades and this is my go to brand for most if not all automotive sealants and adhesive. This stuff works great for attaching a carbon fiber cover on my mobile antenna. It takes about an hour to lose it's tackiness and about 24 hours to be fully cured. Also keep in mind this black adhesive is messing especially when it gets on your fingers and hands. Just use WD-40 on a terry cloth to clean your hands and all of the black adhesive should comes off with little fuss. This stuff works great and it's been over 24 hours and there's no leaks even with the past two day it's been raining pretty heavy. The for money, it's great stuff to fix and repair or to fill in gaps and holes on many surfaces.

It’s versatile, and worth the money!
I picked up this Permatex black silicone adhesive sealant for a few small repairs, and it ended up being one of the most versatile products I’ve used. It applies smoothly, cures to a strong and flexible hold, and bonds well to everything from plastic and metal to rubber and glass. I used it on a weather-exposed automotive trim piece and a small interior repair, and it sealed perfectly with no peeling or cracking. Once cured, it’s tough, completely waterproof, and holds up great against heat and vibration. I really appreciate that it’s suitable for both interior and exterior use, which makes it a reliable go-to for all kinds of DIY fixes. Overall, a dependable, long-lasting adhesive that’s absolutely worth keeping in a toolbox.

Impressive Sealant That Withstands Heavy Rain
I wanted to wait a while after applying this to my car before leaving a review. It’s been a few months now, and I originally noticed water seeping in through the rear window because of wear and tear on the rubber seal. I was skeptical at first since this product was so inexpensive, but I’m genuinely impressed with how well it sealed the gap. I live in an area where it rains about 80% of the year, and this product has held up perfectly. Two big thumbs up from me!

Helped to fix an issue I had with the corners of my rear spoiler sticking out after installation
This helped to fix an issue I had with the corners of my rear spoiler sticking out after installation. It can be a bit messy to apply though, so be sure to use gloves, paper towel and masking tape. So far, adhesive is strong, and the spoiler didn't bulge, even after going through several automatic car-wash. One less star because the tube is very hard to squeeze, and for a small fix, the rest of the tube is not really salvageable, which is shame.

Great sealent
Really nice product, this is a reorder since I have used the first tube. It will last if you seal the tube tightly. Great for repairing shoe's with black soles.

Reliable, Versatile, and Practically Indestructible
This sealant is one of those products that earns its place in the toolbox and never leaves. It seals, sticks, and stays put, whether it’s fixing a car gasket, patching a leak, or repairing something around the house that other adhesives just shrug at. The consistency is smooth, it cures evenly, and once it sets, it’s practically part of the material itself. What really stands out is how many uses this little tube quietly handles without fuss or failure. It’s the kind of product that doesn’t need gimmicks or fancy packaging. It just performs flawlessly every single time. After a few uses, you start to realize it’s the sort of thing you’ll keep reordering long before you run out. If you value dependability over hype, this sealant is it. It’s the unsung hero of small repairs. It's strong, tidy, and endlessly useful. Heat resistant and great value for money.

Don't use it on your shoes!
This stuff is NOT the same as Shoe Goo. For a while now I've been almost resoling some back soled shoes (they're no longer made) with Shoe Goo as I have over pronation and the back side of the heel wears out fast. I often would rebuild the heel with SG, then during the first walk it would sort of sand itself back to smooth and blend right in. Foolishly, I tried doing the same thing with this stuff and it behaved very differently. Where SG is more like liquid rubber, this stuff is more just like black caulking. So it rebuild my heel but rather then sort of sanding down like a normal shoe sole (or SG) it instead just sort of tears away and rips. It still sticks to your shoe (so far anyway) but it will forever look messy. I learned my lesson here, as is often true, you get what you pay for. Back to Shoe Goo I go. I'm sure this stuff is great for other things, but I would strongly not recommend it for shoes. FWIW, I don't think they do either but I saw a reviewer or two here who did. There were some parts of the shoe where the sole was pulling away and I tried to sort of glue those spots like I do with SG and it sadly failed there too.
