Great quality
Used it with a cargo bag on top and it worked very well. Easy set up and feels sturdy

Very sturdy yet pleasantly light to handle
Very sturdy yet pleasantly light to handle. Very reasonably priced. It was less than 1/3 the cost of the smaller version dealer/name brand racks. The rack is rated for 250 pounds of cargo but be sure to verify your car's weight limits (inside driver's door). This may be too much rack when loaded. We chose the 3 piece basket, a like sized waterproof bag and bungy net for complete versatility of sizes/weather conditions for all possible future needs. We chose a basket primarily for out of town shopping because an enclosed carrier is much smaller in volume and unforgiving of square/rigid items. This is a BIG basket with all 3 pieces, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It is approximately as large as the top of your car. I recommend having two people install it on your car. (Take a step stool with you.) I wish the brackets attached to the basket and then attached to car's crossbars so they would be in the right place the next time you put the basket on the car. Instead, you have to remove the brackets, keeping all the pieces in the right order, not losing any washers, and replacing onto the basket or storing without losing. The instructions are horrible, worthless actually. It was easy to figure out how to put it together but there were pieces in the sack that were absent from the instructions and we found no use for them. We plan to add lock washers to all bolts, especially the brackets, so nothing can loosen or get lost with road vibration. We just took our first trip (empty) with no problems except this rack does add a lot of road noise! We had to close the inner headliner to the sunroof to make the trip tolerable. We wonder if removing the front "spoiler" would make it travel better when empty but would be a lot of trouble unless the supplied nuts are replaced with easier to use wingnuts.

Easy to assemble - sturdy
I liked the packaging. The simplicity of putting it together. The 64" one looked big at first but once assembled and mounted it looks great. Doesnt seem cheap and all the parts fit and we're accounted for. I also had to flip the bottom piece upside down that mounts the rack to the cross members. That took longer trying to get it to fit right and not move than the other portions of the assembly. The only issue I have is when you use the smaller screws to keep all 3 parts for the basket together and the plates on the outside that the screw heads are almost the size of the hole for the plate. I solved this by applying washers on there with it so they don't dig through the edges of the whole and ruin it. Besides that I was happy with how quick it came and the quality of the product. I love the open spots on the plates to be able to slap some stickers on it!

Great on my 2023 Tacoma Dual Cab
Assembly is very easy, but you need to plan first. Make sure you have some snips on side cutter on hand. There are a lot of zip ties. Next, use red thread locker with every screw. They are tight, but don't take the chance. Do not use the supplied allen wrench. Use a hex fitting on an impact wrench. Be careful not to over tighten and strip the bolt. You only need to go until you here the first click. Assembling the rack is simple and the directions aren't bad. Make sure you follow the assembly order or things won't fit. If I were mounting this permanently on my truck I would put shrink tubing over all the joints and get some really good, thick rust prevention coating. The welds are really poor quality, but for the price, it's what was expected. I mounted this on a 2023 Toyota Tacoma SR5 with dual cab. My rails are OEM. The tube spacing isn't perfect to mate up with my truck roof rails, but it's good enough. The rack does mount securely. When I grab it to shake it, the entire truck moves. This rack does come with a lot of road noise. On the interstate, it sounds like a jet engine. This will be good enough for my move out-of-state, but it will not be permanently mounted. The road noise and wind noise become extreme above 40mph.

Excellent product and definitely recommend
We bought this cargo carrier to keep our vehicle from getting over crowded since we have a little one and sometimes he can require extra stuff plus it worked well when bringing extra stuff home that we purchased on our trip. We have done roughly a 1000 mile round trip so far and it held up great!! I do a lot of due diligence and spend quite sometime in research before I make a purchase that I hope to get plenty years of life out of, and I can say that this product is very sturdy and built well. I read were a lot of people had issues with water, and parts rusting so when I was assembling I had a tube of clear, waterproof, silicon caulking that I used to fill each end of the tube at least a few inches in so when I slid the pieces together there was no way water would get through. I also made sure each bolt hole was covered as well so when I bolted it together silicone would purge from the holes so I knew I had water proof sealed bolt holes. Then I just wiped away the excess silicone caulking so it left no mess on the frame. Instead of purchasing a bag to put stuff in I bought two heavy duty tarps so I could cover whatever shape of items I was hauling (plus it was cheaper). The netting came in handy to keep the tarps and their corners from moving around and I used a few ratchet straps to keep the load secure as pictured. The brackets I installed so the nuts were on the bottom facing my roof, so whenever I made stops I could check to make sure they were tightened and you can’t get to them if the nuts were facing upward since the cargo would be sitting on them. I also took a medium sized pair of pliers with me to give the nuts a few extra turns when tightening but being careful not to brake anything. Overall definitely a great purchase and would highly recommend this carrier to anyone looking to purchase one.
