Potato Bliss in Every Thin, Crispy Bite
I am *obsessed* with these potato chips. They’re hands-down some of the lightest, crispiest, freshest, and most natural-tasting chips I’ve ever eaten. Unfortunately, they also have a dangerous side effect — it’s way too easy to eat the entire bag before you realize it’s gone. Whether sea salt is truly better for you or not is still up for debate, but that’s not why I buy these. I just love the cleaner, slightly briny flavor of sea salt over table salt. The avocado oil is another win — it enhances the potato flavor beautifully without adding any weird corn or avocado notes. These just taste like *really good potatoes*. Price-wise, they’re about the same as national brands at my local grocery store, so ordering them on Amazon doesn’t feel like paying a premium. The only downside? These are very delicate chips. The texture is lighter than standard or kettle-cooked chips, which sadly means they crush easily in transit. Making the price point a question, if you don't like your bags half cushed. I’ve definitely eaten more than a few “half-bags” of crumbs, but yes — I still savor every last crumb and don't mind the price. Pro tip: don’t order them alongside heavy items unless you enjoy said potato dust. And one more PSA: these are *not* dip chips. They crumble under pressure. So if you're looking for a dip chip, another type say the ripples, ruffles, or kettle. Honestly, I wouldn’t dare dunk something this delicious into onion dip anyway — they’re perfect all on their own. Now if I could just stop myself from ordering a case… because we all know how that would end.

(((-In my opinion-))) which is the only one that counts….
Ordered the “Thin &Crispy Classic Sea Salt”, and let me tell you now, these chips are smooth. Not over powering, not overly salted or over cooked. Just light and easy. Almost too easy. They have just a hint of sea salt allowing you to actually taste the potato, which keeps you reaching in for more without even noticing. I read a couple reviews of people saying they were just ok, or they said they were coming off as bland. Listen, these chips are perfect. They aren’t lacking anything at all. The problem is that most chip brands now days have such a high dose of salt, that we have became accustomed to that heavy salt flavor. When you become accustomed to something, you begin to expect it. Now I have no beef with Lays, but they are heavy handed with the salt content. If you go into this (Boulder) bag expecting that heavy hand, you’ll feel like that flavor you are use to, just isn’t there. However, if you clear that palette and go in wanting a perfect chip, you’ll definitely recognize just how good these really are. As a huge fan of potatoes in general, this Boulder Sea Salt Chip, really lets you taste the potato itself. As these are distributed by the company “Inventure”, and has many different brands of chips on the market under many names, it’s no wonder they have produced something as good as these. This isn’t just some small mom and pop company. They got there hands in a lot of kitchens. Now would I say this is the greatest chip I ever tasted? Maybe not, but it is still a perfect chip. And if you look at the cost of a bag of these with the cost of the same size bag by a different leading brand, you’ll notice that these are definitely more wallet friendly. So here’s the deal, I could sit here and tell you how good these are for an hour, but unless you give them a test for yourself, then you won’t know anyway. Just buy one bag and be the judge for yourself. If you dig them, then you have added another brand of chips to your arsenal. And one thing is for sure, you can NEVER have (too many) potato foods on your menu. You could slide me a plate with mashed potatoes, chips, baked potato, and tater tots, and that’s a perfect dinner. And if you were wondering where the meat is, Well, I replaced it with French fries. Where would society be without the Potato? Depressed and hopeless! One could also make the same argument for Peanut Butter, but that’s a fight for another day.

Best Chips, In Avocado Oil, so NO RANCID SEED OILS as in other Brand Name CHIPS
These CHIPS are exactly what they say, THIN & CRISPY. They are a little pricey, but I guess you have to pay for quality. They are cooked in Avocado Oil which can stand a higher heat than most of the oils that they cook other name brand chips in, so the oil does not turn rancid (which most cover up either with chemicals or just a lot of salt). These chips taste very good, but again are a little pricey since you only get 6OZ instead of the customary 8OZ with other big brands. It is hard to eat just one though!! (I know, that's some other big name brand's slogan, but I'm just making a statement.)

kettle chips
these are some serious chips. Although the bag really doesn't seem to come full. Would definitely appreciate more awesomeness in each bag.

Underwhelming flavor and amount of chips
Good and healthy ingredients-wise, but unremarkable otherwise. Flavor is not particularly striking and chips look like ordinary chips. Fair amount of breakage, about what you would expect. Bag about half full of chips; A bit pricey for the amount you get.
