Extension Wand to fit Dyson DC35 Animal, DC35 Exclusive, DC35 Origin. Will Not Work for All Dyson Models.

I have an old (2013) Dyson DC 35. Just a week ago the wand assembly broke. Dyson no longer makes any replacement parts for this vac, so I ordered this part. Just got delivered today and it fits my vac perfectly. Just one note, it is a bit more heavier than the original, but that's the only difference I can see. So glad I found this part!

I have a handheld DC34 but didnt think it could be used for cleaning my floors,just quick clean ups and in my car. I saw a commerical for the Dyson v10 Absolute ($600) and thought maybe I should buy one since my new puppy chews on my electrical cord while I vacuum. I didnt need the power brush since I have all hardwood floors. When I saw this, I decided to take a chance..and I also purchased the floor brush tool (from this seller but out of stock, I had to get it from another retailer). Now my DC34 works just like a v10!! And all for like $38 total. I highly recommend this!! It said I would receive in like two weeks, but I actually got it in like 3 days! 5 stars!!

Sturdy, well assembled, and fits pretty well. The interface between the wand and the main body of my DC31 Animal handheld is not perfect (with respect to the latching mechanism), but it does lock into place. More importantly (to me), there is perfect mating between the surfaces that are intended to maintain the integrity of the suction generated by the main body. Same for the end that the attachments connect to.

Far as I can tell, this does exactly what it says on the tin. The fitting is a LITTLE tight, and I almost think it would have benefitted from an embedded O-ring instead of just a plastic friction fit(I can see this going wrong), but at least for now, it works. I haven't tested the power feedthrough, since I don't have that head, but yeah. Works fine. Good job for a job 99% well done.

This thing is AWESOME! Dyson does not make a solid wand extension accessory for the Dyson DC31 that I am aware of, so that is why I bought this from Amazon. I was VERY hesitant at first because the couplings on the photo did not look like the one that is on my vacuum. Be rest assured it DOES fit. It's just that because this extension can actually fit a few different models of Dysons... thats why it looks goofy. It is a bit loose fitting to a degree...but it is LONG. HOLD IT WITH TWO HANDS YOU IDIOTS! Don't complain that this things can reach up to your high ceiling and clean for you, but you were too stupid to hold it right and it broke where the hose goes into the female coupling. Also, if the product says it doesn't fit your model, guess what? IT PROBABLY WON'T! I saw some comments that were complaining it didn't fit theirs even though they have the wrong model and they gave it a poor review. Stupid. I don't know about the other models it mentioned, but this fit my Dyson DC31 very well.

I can confirm it works excellent with a DC35 and supports power. I have no idea about which other models use the same connection, examine picture closely. For DC35, it's outstanding to find a replacement. I lost my tube in a move, and the original manufacturer part is more expensive than buying a new offbrand vacuum. This one seems to fit and work just as well, so keeps my vacuum in service for many more years. The silvery finish looks great as well. Can't tell it's not original. Thanks.

Instead of buying a new vaccum, for $23 I now have two in one! I am so thrilled that I found this and love that I don't have to bend done any more. Excellent product, well made.

This wand works with my Dyson "Animal" DC34. Turns your old hand held model into a stick vacuum. It also fits all of the various attachments that came with the DC34 (like the crevice tool etc). I recommend this product.
